Food was excellent. Unfortunately the table next to us had 2 very unruly boys maybe 10 years who were jumping around and really... loud. The parents did not address the problem. My family visited Cobalt while vacationing in Orange Beach. We had a long wait due to not making a reservation. It ended up... taking around an hour and a half to get a table. It was worth the wait as this was one of the best meals we've had while in thearea. My wife and I both went with the grilled swordfish, while the kids opted for pizza. The swordfish was in the top five ofthe best fish we've ever had. The kids said the pizza was good, and they enjoyed the bread as well. The service was excellentand you have some great views. This is definitely somewhere that we will return to and try more of their food. We highlyrecommend giving them a shot. Read more

This is definitely the best place we've eaten while in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach! The wedge salad my husband had was the best... wedge salad either of us has ever eaten! The Firecracker Shrimp appetizer was delicious as well. My husband had the Shrimp FraDiavolo for his meal. I had the Shrimp and Grits with a side of Parmesan Risotto. Both meals were wonderful. My risotto wasamazing!!! Despite my objection, my husband chose for us to sit inside because of the heat. The outside patio is amazingthough!! We were there around midday so it wasn't busy out there yet. I loved how you could watch the boats and the pelicans.It's just an atmosphere that makes you feel good! I would definitely recommend!!! Great food, service, and atmosphere. Laid back vibe with great seafood. We had oysters Rockefeller, shrimp and grits, with a... side of hoppin' John. My wife and girls had 3 different kinds of pizza. If you are in Orange Beach, you should definitely checkit out. Read more

The most delicious oysters that I ever had. Nice view and ambiance. Watch the boat passing by and the great blue heron was... perfect for my bday. Had a free vanilla cup cake to ????. Wonderful. Please make a reservation. We were able to slide in , in less than an hour due to a cancelation. Superb customer service from... every person we met. Our waiters went above and beyond. We decided on Cobalt, thanks to the reviews here, and we were not disappointed. I highly recommend reservations as our wait was... an hour (our fault, as we walked in). However, their bartenders have skills and make an excellent old fashioned and margarita.Our time was well-spent waiting. The raw oysters were the best I've ever experienced. While waiting, a lady stated anotherplace in the area is #1, while this is #2 for oysters. We tried the other place the next day and they couldn't touch the oystershere at Cobalt. These were the best. Their swordfish was great (a bit overcooked, but still great). I even added the combinationoysters, which consisted of Garlic Parmesan, Creole Casino, and Rockefeller. Though not as wonderful as their fresh oysters,they were excellent and worth having again. We will definitely return. Read more

Come here every time I'm in town. Like that they have outdoor seating with a view. Gluten free items on the menu are clearly... marked. Brunch is delicious whether you order off the menu or when they have the buffet. Happy hour specials are a good dealtoo. Read more
