Prime rib special was wonderful. Suggestion, get the prime rib a little less temperature than you normally order and ask for... it to be seasoned and seared. Nice salad with actual toppings vs the normal only spring mix. $2.50 Drink special options niceaddition- limit 2 per person. Outside seating by the water was nice. Would've given this review a 5 if the live music could'vebeen heard outside and the service was a little more attentative throughout the meal. Read more
We came in here on a slow and slightly rainy Monday for lunch and IMMEDIATELY we're greeted with one of the best experiences... I've ever had dining out. We sat at the bar, and our server/bartender CJ (and his lovely coworker, I can't remember her namethough, I apologize CJ and Team!!) were so friendly and also very knowledgeable. He recommended drinks based on what we like andthey were perfect, and he explained the menus and specials in perfect detail too. The food was phenomenal! I had the specialwhich was a "pulled pork po boy". It was so good, and I was stuffed, I couldn't finish it. We're so happy we stopped in to lunchhere and I highly recommend. Read more
I am not kidding when I say this is one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. The steak was so tender literally melted... in me and my partners mouths, we decided to both get the 16 oz ribeye, we originally wanted to oppt out of the red wine demiglaze but our server told us we should keep it on the side just incase, thank God for her! It was amazing, such a great additionto the flavor of the steak. The mash potatoes were amazing and the asparagus was so flavorful. Now onto the oysters omg! we gotthe cheddar and bacon oysters, tasted like heaven. I stuffed myself because I didn’t want to stop eating it no matter how fullI was. Ashley our server was amazing as well! It was a bit of a wait (50ish mins) TOTALLY WORTH IT. I will be recommending thisplace to anyone and everyone who is coming to the gulf shores area. We waited at the bar for the text that our table was ready. My son used the charger by the host stand for his phone. Our food... was amazing, the blackened grouper with crab atop and mushroom risotto, the filet mignon and amaze-mashed potatoes. The serverwas very attentive and kind. This was such a nice experience! Unfortunately no pictures of the food but we had the following and dinner was so good! Fried green tomatoes: our... favorite! Oysters Rockefeller: tasty Gumbo: thick chowder that had a kick to it. Special: was a bacon wrapped filet mignon withpotato hash, deep fried crawfish and asparagus. This was perfect ???????? Seafood pasta: creamy and flavorful Fried flounder andhush puppies: 4 pieces of flounder fried with a perfectly light crust; hush puppies were also light, sweet and fluffy. Shrimpand grits: grits were creamy and shrimp was cooked perfectly. Live entertainment was a nice surprise. They have liveentertainment every evening according to our very friendly waitress. We came and ordered: Blue crab dip- 3/5 stars. Not great but not bad. Pear and Pecan Salad- 3/5. Had to ask for the goat cheese... that is supposed to come on it, not a problem but it’s a pretty simple salad and I saw that another person had an issue withnot receiving the dressing. The salad was okay tasting but the spring mix had a weird texture. Grouper w/ mushroom risotto- 4/5delicious!! Grouper was crispy and well cooked. The risotto melted in your mouth. I could’ve ate a whole meal of just therisotto. Also got 2 beers and a Bellini. So why only 3 stars? The service and food were just okay. Service was fast. We lovedthe live music. Definitely overpriced. AND we were charged $4 for splitting a salad and entree. We would’ve split it ourselveshad we known this was such an inconvenience haha! We had a great meal at Ginny Lane. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. Gi Gi our waitress was great, she checked on... us often. We all had the shrimp special tonight different ways, we all loved it. We got the crab dip and some hush puppies as anappetizer, they were very good. We started watching the LSU game there and didn't want to make to much of a scene when somethinggood happened. It was a great experience, I highly recommend. Read more
