We are out of town guests and decided for something quick and easy. The cook on duty, Josh, was super slow and not very... customer friendly. He stood at the refrigerator and literally threw a dirty, wet towel across the dining room onto a customer?s plate of food. The towel landed in a customers plate & he then said he was trying to ?kick it into the dirty basket?. This wasabsolutely a straight up lie. I watched him purposely throw the towel. It was a group of older teens and the young man saidsomething to him & actually was reasonable. (I would not have been as composed.). Josh made a smart comment back to the youngman and the young man still just laughed it off and asked if he could have a waffle for his troubles. Josh again made a nastycomment to him and at this point the young man used profanity. I could see this situation was escalating. I politely asked theyoung man not to use profanity because we had 3 young children. He immediately apologized and was very sincere. Luckily, thesituation deescalated. Apparently, this was not okay with Josh. He made an effort to walk down toward the table, away from thecooktop, to engage again. He was pointedly trying to antagonize the customer again. Not only was he rude and looking for afight with the customer, but he was also nasty to the two ladies working with him. We finally asked for our food to go in orderto get out of there. Honestly, the young customers handled themselves in a manner better than I would have if that had happenedto me. They paid for the food even though he couldn?t eat it. I was absolutely stunned that this situation didn?t escalate intoa something much worse. Josh should be relieved of his duties. He is not only a poor cook he is also a poor representative foryour company. Read more

We came in on a busy Sunday morning on LABOR DAY WEEKEND and let me tell you- these people were awesome. We were sat within 5... minutes and our drinks and food were in front of us within 15 minutes. Our service was so great and all in all we really didhave a wonderful experience. The past few locations I have been to have not been good at all. I live in Foley and we?ll comehere from now on. Service by employee with hat on backwards and nose ring started off fine. They messed my order up she took it back and got it... fixed all was good, after getting our plates we wasn't checked on for refills, my brother in law couldn't get attention ofwaitress so he went to counter and politely asked for a refill when she finally brought it she warned him to not stand bycounter again or it would be a good way to get HIT! and began to be more rude. Then another young man went and stood by doorlike a bouncer as to block us in until we paid as if we would leave without..very very unprofessional the waitress had 3 tablesto keep up with she justified. If you can't handle 3 tables or be professional you may want to find a different job. What foodwe got was average at best facilities and service was terrible! Read more

You MUST SIT in the red chairs to wait or miss red hair won?t service you. Five tables plus four seats at the table top were all... dirty with several employees standing around while two parties wait for tables. My table of two left since the wait was going tobe awhile just by watching the staff stand. I wouldn?t waste your time with this location! Read more

Very unclean. Sadly this is a frequently occurring event on the Gulf Coast at Waffle Houses at night. These photos are just half... of what I saw last night. Girl in the pink hat refused to serve me. It my right to take photos with my phone. I've been at thislocation before and it was just as filthy. To Waffle House management if you see a problem don't ignore it, fix it. Y'all canand should do better. Girl suggested if I had a problem with the place, I should work there. No thanks. I respectfully decline.Understaffing is not a patron issue. So don't blame me for your problems. Adjust your attitude and maintain professionalism.Just minding my own business. Patrons and staff had to escalate the situation. Read more

Believe it or not this is one of the best waffle house that I've ever visited the organization is fantastic the line was... extremely long but we were through it in no time. I can't tell you how incredible this waffle house was. My food was made toperfection with with no exception along with my wife's food.. I believe our waitresses name was Gaby and she was on a missiontrip with students for missionaries group, she was a delight to talk to and I was pleased to give her a very large tip. Read more
