I went here by accident, the bar across the street seemed too dumpy to eat so I went here for a Cuban sandwich. I'm glad I did,... Ive had Cubans in Miami, and this place even tops those. They had like 30 different kind of Cubans, and I noticed they had whatseemed like 100 different ice cream flavors, so I'm excited to go back and check those out later. You can eat inside if it's hotout, or outside if the weather is pleasant. Seriously good eats for DeLand orange city area. Read more

One of the best Cuban sandwiches I've had to date! The one pictured was the Parmesean Cuban! They probably have 20 different... Cuban Sandwich options! This place definitely has five star customer service, but three star food, so I'm giving it four stars. They definitely don't... have the "best Cuban" like family claim to, it was all right, but definitely not anything spectacular. As for the hot dogs, I'mnot sure how they cook them, but they don't really have much texture, they could definitely use with some char or grill marks.The hot dogs are also overly sweet, and I wasn't super impressed with the size. I got the chili cheese dog, and the one withcheese and grilled onions, and either of these I could have made an entire batch at home with basic ingredients and tasted thesame or better. I also got the pineapple sorbet and the passion fruit sorbet, but they were unexciting. Don't get me wrong, itwas okay food. Just nothing amazing. I love the atmosphere, the customer service, the whole vibe, but the food is average. Read more
First time coming here. Perfect weather for sitting outside. I got the 8 inch Jibarito Cuban, my girlfriend the 6 inch Chorizo... Cuban, and grilled cheese for her daughter. Definitely a lot of options, so it's going to take a while to work our way throughthe menu. The place was super clean and they even have toys for the kids to play outside (nice touch). For dessert I got thesmall Butterfinger waffle cone, which was actually bigger than I expected and my girl got the mango Häagen-Dazs sherbert. Goodfood and didn't break the bank! Read more
