You get a lot for a little bit of money. The food is seasoned so well and all the sauces are amazing. Everyone here is very... polite and helpful with their menu. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants around as the food is affordable, unique,and prepared perfectly as if they took it off their menu and put it on a plate. The music, atmosphere, and attitude inside makesyou feel comfortable. This is also one of the cleanest restaurants around. Read more

Really good and fast Mediterranean/Middle Eastern style restaurant. There were some items on the menu that described food as... Iraqi but coming from an Iraqi background, the place seemed more like Turkish cuisine, not Iraqi. The lentil soup had a heavyspiciness to it that I've never had from any other Mediterranean restaurant or home, wasn't bad just different. Ordered the lambkebab entrée with hummus and house salad - very good flavors and textures throughout. The laham ajeen (meat pie) was not likeany other meat pie I've had, it was very soft and beef flavors on top were a little bland. Usually laham ajeen has a a morehardened crust to it. Usually I prefer grape leaves hot (like dolma) but these cold versions here at Dunya were really good.Will return to try more entrées! Read more
My wife and I are Lebanese and have been exploring middle Eastern places in Jacksonville. This place was by far the least... authentic and the least enjoyable experience. We ordered the mixed appetizer platter. The hummus on the plate was from a can. Nomistaking it. Same is the baba ghannouj. The Tabbouleh had barely if any dressing at all. Tabbouleh is my favorite dish asLebanese and I didn't touch it after my first couple of bites. I had the mixed shawarma platter which was average. My wife hadwhat we thought was a shawarma wrap which in middle Eastern restaurants and even back home comes in a pita bread . It came in atortilla wrap ( not something you would expect from an authentic Mediterranean place). I am honestly baffled by the positivecomments this place has. If you're looking for an authentic Mediterranean place, this is not the place. Huge let down. Read more
