Me and my fiance decided to stop here for dinner today and all I can say is WOW! If your taste buds need some excitement and you... want a friendly and clean experience then you should stop by. We ordered the curry and tobago chicken with jerk fries and redbeans and rice. As well as the jerk chicken with red beans and rice, and sweet potato fries. They serve lots of juices anddrinks. If love had a flavor. This is where you find it. Im here for a visit and had a taste for some good Caribbean food. I got so... lucky because Irie Diner was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Wings to start. They were awesome because they'renot fried, but real traditional jerk wings and they don't cover up the true flavor (not drowned in sauce). I has the in-housemade pineapple lemonade. Finally I had the Curry Goat with beans and rice with cabbage (so fresh). Here is the thing, the CurryGoat came with the Gravy on the side. I love it.... I don't even know where to begin! My experience was absolutely 100 percent PHENOMENAL! Let's start from the top!! The place is... located in a shopping plaza, doesn't look like much from the outside but once you enter the decor is sooo lively andinviting. My waitress, Tesha greeted me and sat me down immediately. Her personality and service were top notch. She wasfriendly and very inviting and made me feel welcomed which goes a loooooong way. This was my first visit to this hidden gem so Igot the full experience... appetizer, entree, dessert, cocktail and a regular drink. The food was soooooooo good. It was hot,fresh, well prepared seasoned appropriately and presented very beautifully. The owner came out and checked on me and the otherpatrons. He was also very friendly and made me feel like I mattered as a customer. I ordered the Barbados combo platter withcoconut shrimp and jerk wings, the Trinidad and Tobago Curry chicken w/ Rice and Peas and Cabbage, Strawberry swirl cheesecake,Kingston Rum Punch and a pineapple lemonade. Highly recommend this place! Had an amazing experience here. The service was awesome. Our servers name was Shauna. She made... great suggestions and was very kind. We also met one of the owners, Peter. He was very friendly and nice. The chef was anotherowner who we didn?t meet, but the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the conch fritters to start. Super good, try it withthe spicy sauce. We also ordered the oxtail and the Jamaican jerk chicken (pictured). Both meats were tender and had excellentflavors. We will definitely be coming back!
