I brought my work team here and we had a blast. The chef did an amazing job and created an awesome environment for fun and... entertainment. On top of that, we got to eat amazing food. I got the salmon hibachi and it was phenomenal. Only thing off wasthe one person who ordered sushi got it way before everyone else's hibachi was made so she was left eating alone. Not a bigdeal! I consider myself to be extremely well versed when it comes to Japanese style food including Sushi and Hibachi. Let me first... say this.... it was my girlfriends first experience, as well as the group of young ladies who took their friend out for herbirthday. Dao is top notch across the board. We had an absolute blast (and it appeared the birthday group did as well) ChefJoe!!!!!! Not quite sure the hype lives up to how incredibly charismatic and entertaining Joe's service was. This place is nowin my Top 5 for restaurants in Western NY... o BTW not one person in our group was able to finish there meal. Prices were veryreasonable, food was first class. Date night, just the two of us. We ordered 3 entrees and 3 appetizers together expecting to take a bit home. The serving staff... went above and beyond and presented our meal in five courses, with perfect timing. Could not be more impressed and we will beback. Read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Orchard Park. I can’t say enough great things about this place! We go here for just... about every family birthday party and it’s the perfect place to celebrate with a large group. It’s family owned and they aresome of the nicest people I’ve met since moving here. The portion sizes are generous so it’s an incredible value thatwon’t break the bank when you’re taking out the family. The drinks are strong and there’s a great selection of sake alongwith a full bar. Definitely call ahead for reservations though because this place gets really busy. Read more
Just visiting my cousin from Boston. I have to tell you, this is the best sushi restaurant ever.... Fish is fresh... Tuna fish... poke is to die for...I'm in food business more than 30 years...this is incredible good food. Read more
Terrible experience with this restaurant. When spending almost $30 per person on a hibachi style dinner (not including apps or... drinks), we were smoked out by the grill. Either the vent wasn't working or they forgot to turn it on. It was evident that mydaughter and I were getting blasted by the smoke... nothing was done or said from restaurant employees (or chef) as they clearlysaw us backing off the table and coughing. Then the staff didn't deliver our salads or as they said, they forgot about thesalads... not sure how you forget salads for 9 people sitting at a hibachi table. When I confronted the staff about it, theyasked if we wanted the salads brought out... what kind of question is that when dinner is over and we're already ticked off dueto the smoke. Bad experience overall and they didn't offer to make things right or even offer up dessert or a slight discountto better the situation. I will never return to this restaurant, as they clearly have no clue how customer service works. Read more
