I moved her about a year ago and never had wine before. An Airman took me to this wine bar and fell in love with the small town... feel. The wines were AMAZING! I also learned that the owner is a Veteran. He sells Black Rifle Coffee stuff which is amazing. Ihave gone almost a dozen times now. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax with a glass or bottle of wine withthose they love! Read more

Visited recently with my son. Really disappointed to see folks trying to make money off other folks' politics. Over the top,... attention-grabbing military support by business owners has never appealed to me. And selling merchandise for a profit, evenless so. I come from a military family, and served myself. If you in Orcutt, go here! Talk to Kurt, he knows wine and whats going on in the neighborhood. Very generous. I am still coming... here, such a great place to be. We are getting pizza delivered from a pizza guy set up around the corner. Wine is alwaysfabulous and the people are always friendly. Stop by for a glass and socialize with everyone. Read more

What an amazing wine bar! The owner and staff are always so friendly. The best part is their love for our Military Heroes. They... donate and sponsor local Military nonprofits! Great wine bar with friendly staff! They have a very nice selection of local wines and a few beers on tap from Naughty Oak next... door. The building is nice and is a great place to come enjoy a glass or come during an event on the weekend. Also carries BlackRifle Coffee which I love! Read more

Between the marvelous garden/waterfeature outside, the very pleasant & warm tasting room, the plethora of fine local wines,... beer, cider, & even Kombucha from next, as well as, the knowledgable friendly owner, this place is a must. Since I stopped byat random, even though they were "closed", I was still given tons of info by the wonderful owner, & I even grabbed a nicePinot. He also emphasized how they tried to treat & provide local creations with top priority. I saw numerous examples of manyof my local favorites and we chatted about the local moist microclimates that I tend to enjoy. They had a wide range ofselections from all over this region, as well as, literally right next door from Naughty Oak [which was completely closed on aTuesday...so we went to Blast 825 instead], and the next door Kombucha place. He also spoke highly of the weekends when theyhad various local smaller vineyards as guests in the next room. Orcutt was named after a fellow who worked for the oil industryand was instrumental in discovering the many fossils from CA tar pits. Quite a few people have a Swiss-Italian heritage hereand as with some other small towns, it seemed that we knew some of the same people. A railroad used to stop here and that isanother part of history. Overall, this town is generally far more pleasant than much of Santa Maria. On the other hand, it israther getting popular with the tourist millennial crowd. In any case, we felt rather safe & comfortable in Orcutt, as opposedto some areas in Santa Maria, where gangs are active, & where some areas seem kind of Ghetto, like where I grew up in NYC, orlater lived in Modesto...or even Hawaii. Even though we are locals in Pismo & somehow missed the Old Town area of town, thesmall Old Town area of Orcutt proved to be a great find....and more interesting than some other parts. Since it is anunincorporated area, the addresses may say Santa Maria or Orcutt, but you are definitely in Orcutt. It is a bit simil Read more
