It was the wife and I first time at this hole in the wall restaurant in downtown Oregon city. We loved it. The wife ordered the... Havana burger and I had the Devilish Cubano. The meal was great we will tell our friends and keep coming back. You got to trythe coleslaw I've always found K.F.C. coleslaw to be the best. Well I found a coleslaw that ranks number 1. First time we ate there, it was great. Second time, no complaints. The third time with our kids, the food was a bit burnt... tasting and beef was on the tough side, but the manager and wait person was very quick to help correct the issue. We left theresto feeling full and happy. Soup starter is always awesome and hearty. Their food is always great and the wait staff alwaysfriendly and attentive. Highly recommended. Read more

Came in after lunch for the first time looking to try the Cuban Coffee which I’ve heard good things about. All true! Tried the... papitas and was blown away by the flavor. The staff was truly amazing as well. Very personable and and friendly. Afterdiscussing good food in general, I was treated with a small sample of their Ropa Vieja and wow, the flavor! Came back for dinnerthat night with the family and was not disappointed! Started with Castros Cocktail which was recommended during my earliervisit. Great recommendation! Had the Ahi Tuna special which was phenomenal. Kids got rice bowls and I tried some of theirchicken. On point and the kiddos ate it up! What a find! We headed out for a date and wanted to find something unique and authentic, this place met every expectation!... Looking through all the reviews the Seafood Tostones looked good. We tried them and they were a perfect appetizer plate to splitwith two people. Fresh scallops, and shrimp on a plantain that tasted more like a flat potato. The sauce was packed with uniqueflavor. Delicious. I had the Bistec Pollo, chicken with mushroom sauce, rice and black beans and 2 little sweet plantan bites.The chicken was moist and very flavorful with the cream sauce. The soup was a pork and potato with a kick of heat. My husbandgot the Cubano Sandwich. He loved it. Best part was the Guava Cobbler with Pinapple Coconut Ice Cream. Out of this worlddelicious and not too sweet, which was shocking. Absolutely delicious. Server was attentive and food all came out hot and fresh.We can't wait to come back.
