We are locals but are originally from the Bay Area. We love this restaurant and eat here often. The food is great and the... service friendly and attentive. Our favorites include any of the pizzas, they are all good, the lamb shanks, and the seafoodravioli. My favorite dessert is the chocolate mousse with pomegranate whipped cream. Visiting from the bay area & what a jewel to be found! The exterior leaves something to be desired but don't let that bother you... one bit! Upon entering we were immediately greater by a smiling server who asked if we had a reservation. (A reservation Ithought to myself??? Esp when we were sat & more than half of the tables were empty) This is a tiny restaurant with some quirksbut the food is absolutely amazing & the service impeccable! Loved that they served local wine!! Grant Marie syrah was ourselection. We split a salad with blue cheese, moussaka, lamb shank & chocolate moose! Recommend everything but the salad. Thesalad was fresh but paled in comparison to the rest of what we ate. Chose one of the apps! (Table next to us ordered two,quesadilla & sampler, which they reported as delicious.) A hidden gem! If you live in the Bay Area or anywhere near Sacramento, this place is definitely worth the drive. This is the... kind of place where I would bring my family whenever they visit us from Europe. Authentic Mediterranean food with a chef'sunique signature touch. Wine list is also spectacular!
