Great experience at Asahi! Whenever I visit this delicious sushi spot, I am always reminded of their consistency and great... service. I consider this place as one of the best sushi spots here in Utah County. The ambience, service, and food is great!I've tried a variety of rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and appetizers. I can confidently say that this place has plenty of deliciousmenu items to choose from. Their appetizers are amazing too, I personally enjoy the spicy edamame. Compared to other sushirestaurants, Asahi makes their meals very quickly but in the best way possible. The ingredients are fresh, the food and rollsare cut well, and the service is great. Would definitely visit again! Read more

Managed to get my husband out of the house for a late night sushi date, at first the wait seemed to be forever long but once... inside the food came out super quick, the best part everything was fresh... & delicious. We shared 5 rolls and these two sides. The rolls looked so yummie we ate them and i forgot to get a picture. Loved their late night specials... the menu has plenty ofoptions if you're on a budget. First time at Asahi! The decor is nice, but on a Saturday lunch hour, it was a bit empty. The music was really off - playing... loud "club" music (louder than it should be) so it threw me off a bit. The rolls were smaller than normal (compared to whatI've had in Utah County) and they were just OK - nothing out of the ordinary. The service was decent, but nothing was memorableenough for me to come back. Read more

Wow! Super impressed with everything here. I had the spicy edamame which is a house special here. Super good. We went with the... dynamite, the Vegas, and the Red Dragon. All were phenomenal! The sake maki was smooth and delicious as well! Was super happywith the server Maddy. She was really nice and helpful! The Manager Ian was such a happy guy he made us feel so welcomed! Alsoas a side note they have really good nearly fresh wasabi at the bar and you should ask for that! Will be coming back to thisone!! Read more

I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, the staff was very friendly especially the manager Ian! He portion of the food isn’t... too big but standard price for sushi in the area. My favorite was the unagi maki and the playboy! The geisha was cool to try butdidn’t expect it to be a cucumber wrap! Good food overall! Read more

This place has incredibly fresh food! You can tell they use fresh, non frozen veggies in the Japanese Coconut Curry. Which was... out of this world btw. The sushi options are amazing as is the agedashi tofu. They do have tamari for the gluten free crowd.Ultra vegan and veggie friendly. Read more

My trip to Asahi, Sushi Bar & Restaurant: A friend and I had set out to go to a different sushi restaurant, but it was closed... on Monday's so we had heard good things about Asahi and since we were already in the mood, went here instead. A fortunatehappenstance as it were. We were the first patrons of the day and as we entered the restaurant my friend commented on the smellof cleaning products mixed with food/fish, which was unappealing. They must have just wiped down the tables or bar, but thesmell quickly dissipated and it was nice to know that they had just sanitized. The wait staff greeted and seated us right away, offered menus, took our drink and appetizer order, and returned quickly with the beverages. We decided to start with calamari. You can usually tell a good restaurant by the calamari and it has become one of the standard "tests" we use to rate a place. Inthis case, you could tell the calamari was of the frozen quick serve sort. It was very rubbery and not very good. Fortunately, this was one of the only negatives in our meal. We ordered five rolls for the main course of our meal. The rolls were,California, Sweet Yuzu, Roman, Asahi, P2. The California roll is another standard test we use, as everyone has a Californiaroll, it doesn't get smothered in sauce, and you get a good sense of rice quality and freshness. The rice here was okay, just abit on the dry side for my taste, but not distracting. We both noticed the crab salad was a little salty. It was a good start tothe meal. My review of each roll is as follows: California - Good, but a little salty. Sweet Yuzu - Good, not as sweet as Iexpected. Roman - Good all around. Asahi - Very good signature roll, P2 - My favorite. The sweet potato flakes give a goodtexture and taste uniqueness. I would say overall very good. They seem to like jalapenos more than the average sushirestaurant, but I like that bit of heat, so I enjoyed it. The flavor profiles of every roll were great. I would come back an Read more
