I was super disappointed in the quality of customer service and cleanliness of this location. The girls working were distracted... and it took them several moments to even acknowledge me even after making eye contact when I entered the establishment. Theywere too busy talking to take my order. They were out of a lot of different toppings and the stone where they mix the ice creamwas dirty. Unfortunately the entire store was so dirty I was uncomfortable eating there. I will definitely not go back. Read more
We went into the Orem Mall around 6:45 pm on Wed., 4/27 and the 3 girls behind the counter were talking and eating the ice... cream. Another customer needed help on getting napkins and one of the girls just pointed to where they were as she put anotherspoonful of ice cream in her mouth. Very poor and very rude. We ordered 2 of the Peanut Butter cup ice cream desserts and theywere out of peanut butter sauce and fudge. They quickly put them together, not breaking the candy up or even mixing themcorrectly. It's great to have young teens working but they need to do their job correctly!! The owner or manager needs to talkto their employees concerning customer service. Wow!!! I used to love coming to cold stone but lately it?s been just horrible, the workers weren?t wearing appropriate gloves... and they were doing such a bad job making the scoops, they all were very distracted the tables were disgusting. They were out ofa lot of the ice creams. The floors were disgusting and so was the glass it was so gross it made me not wanna be in the storecause it was that gross the line was so long but it shouldn?t of been if they were actually helping the customers and I feellike a lot of the people need to be trained about making ice cream bowls or anything and they need more training for cleaningthe store. I went on a date with brandt here, was quite enjoyable, the ice cream was cold yet scrumptious. The stone that they used to make... the ice cream seemed to be quite cold indeed which i enjoyed. My one complaint is that the mint mint chocolate chocolate chipice cream seemed to have more than one chocolate chip, unlike the name implied. I'm not sure if this just a mistake but itreally made me confused. Don't get me wrong i was still content with the ice cream provided, as it had an equal balance of mintmint to chocolate chocolate, the chip was the only imbalance. All things including very good ice cream place would recommend themint mint chocolate chocolate chip or the birthday cake remix? as they are both superb. Read more
They gave me Kit Kat mixed in instead of Twix. I mean, I know they were busy, but it was highly disappointing. I didn't discover... it until after we'd left since there were no seats. We also used a coupon for buy one get one and a $15 gift card, yet the totalstill came to $3 or $4. I wanted to see the receipt to see why, but she had already crumpled it up. I still asked for it, butshe threw it away. It was awkward and my husband and I both left with a bad taste in our mouths. Kind of ruined the night forus, though my daughter still had fun. Husband's ice cream was cheesecake and chocolate truffle with oreos mixed in. It wasquite good. (Not pictured) Daughter's ice cream was cotton candy (the blue one) and Oreo creme with gummy bears. She liked it.Both pure sugar. I don't recommend the Oreo Creme. It's not cookies and cream like you think it's going to be. Mine wasAmaretto and Cookie Dough with kit kat. Date of Visit: 7/9/2020 OVERVIEW - 4.5 Came here with some gift cards and inspired by my wife's sweet tooth. LOCATION -... 5 I'll be honest, I am a little sour with Google Maps with completely jacking me up and leading me all around to get to ColdStone. I ended up parking behind the mall and having to cut through the entire mall, finding one of their maps and then makingmy way to Cold Stone. They have a great location, that is if Google Maps doesn't lead you astray. PRICE - 3 The price I findover the top inflated. The ice cream cake I bought was $32 after tax. That is outlandish to a Mad Max level! PRODUCT/SERVICE- 5 While I do complain about the price of the Midnight Delight (which sounds over-the-top inappropriate), it was simply amazingin taste! POINTERS/PERKS - N/A I think they have some kind of club with your phone number or app or something. I think theyalso have a birthday program. This is my second time coming to this location. Last time, I asked for two different orders and only one was actually done. I... gave up and took the one Ice cream and left. I couldn?t finish it since I asked for a signature creation and they didn?t knowhow to make it. Now, today I went in and the staff was new and training. They seemed to not know what I was talking about when Iasked for a signature. I wish you guys would train your staff more effectively.
