Had the perch was very disappointed. It was not fresh. Was prebreadeded frozen pieces of something burnt and dry. They should... let you know it is not fresh before ordering. $13.99 Per person for 3 pcs of leather fish. Had heard many good things about thisplace so we gave it a try. Great place. Very fun and reasonably priced...and the service is great. We drive from over an hour away to have dinner here at... least 3 or 4 times a year since we discovered Ding-A-Ling about 4 or 5 years ago. Read more

Went on a Saturday night and it was very busy. There was one bartender. Took 20 min to order an old fashion. They had our table... ready so we were seated at our reservation time. However, we were still waiting on a couple people. The server didn't ask if wewanted appetizers or drinks while we waited. So we sat there for 20 more minutes without anything. After we put our orders inthe food took a while to come out. Most of us ordered steaks and fried potatoes. The filet was the worst I've ever had. Orderedit medium and it came out well done. One person in our group ordered shrimp and she said hers was really good. They asked if wewanted dessert, would've liked an ice cream drink, then didn't come back for an order for 20 min. By that time we all haddecided we were ready to go home. While walking out the entire wait staff was sitting down eating their dinners in the maindining room. It was 8:30 pm on a Saturday night. We've been here several times for Prime rib and the fish fry. Always happy with our visits, the staff is very friendly and even... when busy they acknowledge you and get to you as quickly as they can. Food has always been great and the prices are good. Wewill continue to go here for dinner and would recommend it to those looking for a small-town supper club experience. Read more
