This was my first time in, yet I see them every week for their liquor order and keep reminding myself that I have to go. Well, I... finally went. Took my son with me, and we both had the steak and lobster. Cooked our own steak. That was a great experience. Wealso had the lobster bisque and their lobster dip to start. This restaurant exceeded our expectations. We came into Orillia for dinner and saw the raving reviews. We kept our expectations... low since we were in a small town but we were blown away by the service and the food quality. All the ingredients used weresuper fresh. Having visited Orillia for a few days, I am getting a vibe that the town really values good, fresh, food. The mostmemorable dishes were the ribs (we got it twice), the filet mignon, and the Caesar salad. The ribs were perfectly cooked andfell off the bone. The filet was wonderfully well seasoned. The Caesar salad is one of the best I’ve ever had. I am not surehow they make/ get the dressing, but the dressing tasted very homemade. Read more
We did the cook your own steak, and it was actually quite good. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere very comfortable and... homey. We were there on a Saturday night and they had a jazz singer. I would advise you to call ahead and book a reservation.They were very busy when we arrived at 730. My wife opted for the chicken penne which she said was very tasty. Read more
Amazing food, great service. The stone bake is so cool. My only disappointment was that their website indocated a dress code,... yet they let people ignore it (hubby was upset that I made him wear pants instead if golf shorts, but others were wearingshorts) If not abiding by the code, don't have it on your website. What an excellent restaurant! Ordered the French onion soup and fillet. The server was nice enough to suggest the steak on a hot... stone, which I said yes of course! The peppercorn sauce on the side completely perfected the dish. Everything, even the bakedpotato with sour cream, was divine. Read more
1st visit and we were not disappointed. Excellent food, the appetizers and main course were plentiful & delicious. Unfortunately... we were too full to sample the deserts but definitely will next time. They have good daily specials too. There was a guitaristplaying lovely music in the background. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice music, clean restaurant, amazing food. We had been wanting to try this place for a long time... and it did not disappoint.
