Hoooooooooooly moly this is good. Can’t recommend this restaurant more. The quality of the food, for the price you’re... paying, is the best I’ve seen in years. The service is top notch, and I really don’t think there’s a subpar item on themenu. I had spinach ricotta cannelloni, absolutely amazing. We split meatballs which were 10/10. Our server John was AMAZING! Kept us laughing with his quick wit through the entire dinner, and was so attentive. I cant... remember the last time I’ve had such great service. The appetizers were delicious, the pizzas were HUGE and could easily beshared between 2 people as a meal. John was so knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. I make my own gnocchi so I am hesitant to try gnocchi at any restaurant because I am always disappointed. BUT....this Smocchi... Gnocchi was SMOKIN' AMAZING! Best gnocchi I've ever had. It was obviously hand made in house. Well done! Our server Michaelwas kind, funny and polite. I do have to mention that our meal was exceedingly late but it was acknowledged and we were compeddessert. An excellent place. It pays to support local. Can't wait to go back. Read more
I just had the most spectacular dinner experience at Rustica Pizza Vino tonight. I am not a resident of Orillia, but the staff... treated us like we were regulars. Jenna (the owner) greeted us immediately and sat us down at the back of the restaurant at abeautiful table. We were then served by Stephanie who was absolutely fantastic. We were served our drinks and food so quicklyand it was delicious. Stephanie even took a few wonderful photos for us when we asked. We had an amazing time in this remarkably beautiful restaurant. Highly recommended. Call to reserve. It's very popular and for... good reason. The food was exceptional, our server "Ghost Girl" was charming and always made sure we were well taken care of. Allof the staff appear to genuinely nloge working there, which is a reflection of great ownership / management. We had the SunshineCity Pizza and were blown away. We loved this restaurant. The food is so delicious and fresh. We ordered two pizzas (fungi and giro), two pastas (meatballs &... spaghetti, chicken parm), two salads (Caesar and arugula), and three desserts (brownie afogato, Nutella donuts, chocolatericotta) for 4 people. We ate everything. The pizza crusts were perfectly chewy. The pastas were so fresh. The desserts weredelicious and creative. We are so impressed and will definitely return. Read more
