I ordered a breakfast wrap meal which clearly stated in the description it was served with home Fries, then again asked me to... chose a side so I chose home fries and never received a thing, so I called to let them know and rather than helping me theypretty much told me I was wrong and that it does not come with the meal, so you are telling me I payed 14$ (before tax) for justa wrap? No meal nothing and the worker insists that it comes on the wrap. Which yes this wrap does have home fries on it butthat does not change the fact that it is described as served with them as well as it giving you the option to chose a side. Soyou?re telling me if I chose a fruit salad u woulda put it on the wrap? I don?t think so Read more
Fast efficent friendly staff reasonable price. The only thing was a slight oldish oily taste on the hashed potatoes. Nothing... rancid though maybe the oil was getting refiltered. Everything was cooked properly to order. Read more
I?m so lucky I stopped by this Sunset Grill with my family! The service was great, they were very friendly and quick to help. I... also liked how it wasn't dirty like the other diners I?ve been too so it made sitting there comfortable. I ordered an omelettewith an extra order of home fries because my family could not keep their hands off them! Definitely would recommend going downfelt just like home! Read more
I feel compelled to post a review to share my dissatisfied experience with Sunset Grill in Orillia. We entered the restaurant... and there was no line up waiting for a table, and the restaurant was half occupied by customers. We were greeted by a friendlystaff who told us there was a 30 minute wait. I asked why since there are so many empty tables. She explained that they justseated a large party and wouldn't be able ro take our order until this family was served. We only saw about 12 people whodidn't have food served yet. I dont understand why they felt they had to turn us away. There were 3 waitresses and 3 cooks whodidn't look very busy. So we asked them for a referral to another breakfast location since we are not familiar with Orillia.they directed us to Wimpys. Thank you for the referral to Wimpys. Terrible experience. My server Lindsay (which is generous of me to say) gave terrible service. It wasn't busy at all and I had... to ask to be served. 15 minutes of sitting waiting for a server, I should have just left. Once she took my order she never cameback the rest of my time there. I had coffee which never got refilled, she never quality checked my table and to top it all offthe servers were behind the counter joking and annoying the customers with loud laughter. Nice, comfortable atmosphere just like many of the other Sunset Grill restaurants. Our server was nice and ensured my coffee... was always topped up. Our meals arrived quickly. 2 of 3 poached eggs were overdone. Home fries, scrambled eggs, pancakes andsausages were fine. We felt rushed to leave after our meal was done, but it was understandable as there was a lineup right outthe door. Tip is to come early to beat the line up as we did. Read more
First time here this afternoon. Service was good and food was great. A definite for a great breakfast.
