The atmosphere is nice. I liked the fact it's open so it's not very noisy. Waitress and staff were attentive and friendly. The... giant pretzel was pretty amazing! Our dinners were good. Pretty pricey though for small portions, other than the pretzel. Iordered a Philly cheesesteak with fries ($19) to take home to another family member and as you can see there were barely anyfries. They thought I brought home my leftovers. The philly was super small. It's supposed to have green peppers andcarmalized onions which there were like 3 on the whole sandwich. Very disappointing. I may give this restaurant another chancejust because the staff were very attentive and friendly, but the portions and quality of food need to be worked on for the priceyou pay. Read more

We were seated right away. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Started off with carnitas nachos that were out of this world.... I ordered an Italian Cubano sandwich that was made with pulled pork, ham, spicy giardiniera, mustard, and cubano style pressedbread. My wife ordered a New York strip steak. New restaurant in town for Orland Park! First time going and it was an okay experience. The food was good, the only problem was... that my dad ordered the BBQ Teriyaki Pork Bao Buns and they gave him the shrimp ones. We even talked to the chef and hereassured my dad that they were the teriyaki ones. If they were, where was the brown sauce? Not trying to bash on the chef butthey were definitely incorrect. Also, I ordered a burger and my waitress didn?t even ask how I wanted my meat cooked which Ithink should always be protocol when you?re ordering beef. One last thing, my mom wanted to try one of the beers just like alittle taste and our waitress gave us a little sip of it but she charged us seven dollars for the little sip she gave my mom butthe seven dollars is for a full beer which we didn?t order. We confronted her that we didn?t order the full beer and she actedlike she had no idea why ?they? charged us for the beer. But I used to work as a waitress and usually the ?waitress? puts inyour order which also charges you on the POS which also prints your receipt. Loved it. The name says Tavern and there is a big beautiful bar, but the food is really good.

The staff has a long way to go before this restaurant is worth dining at. Food was fine. Just fine. Not great. The price on... the other hand is 20-30% higher than it deserves. Timing seems to be the big issue. Drinks ordered with appetizers, didn'tarrive until after, after our entrees were served. Hopefully corporate will step in and help out. The manager was not steppingin were needed. He could have alleviated the bar issue. Read more

We walked in with the family for early dinner. The place is nicely layed out and friendly. We looked at the menu but since we... are Muslims, we faced hard time finding a pork/bacon free meal. The waitress was nice to explain that all fried food is fried inthe same oil with bacon/pork. We could not even order frensh fries. If you dont eat pork or ham or if you are Vegeterian thenyou must only eat mashed potato... lol... this is very silly and dissappointing. We had to cancel our order and leave.
