My sister and I had dinner at Cooper's hawk in Orland recently. We are wine club members and enjoy our visit each time. We both... decided to try something new this visit. I ordered the bubbly flight and she ordered the white wine flight. I did not care toomuch for the almond sparkling and she didn't care for the Chardonnay. But that's what a flight is for, trying things out. Shethen ordered the crispy Asian sesame chicken salad and I chose the gnocchi with roasted butternut squash. Both were deliciousand we were glad we tried something new. We topped it off with a Reese's ice cream cookie which was the perfect ending to ourdinner. We left so full and got some of our wine bottles to go. The only thing I would LOVE is if they got their calamariappetizer back on the menu. No other appetizer compares to it and I miss it so much!! Fruit fly and I don’t know what this is in my glass…We asked Dennis “the manager” could he accommodate us with a bottle... to go and he said he could not, after we had been dining in for over 3 hours. I love the location but I felt because I amMoorish American he didn’t want to accommodate us. Our server Britney was very accommodating and I definitely appreciate herservice. My wife and I love going to this particular location a lot because we can almost always reserve a day before or some time even... same day. And besides that the service has always been extremely nice and fast. I was there last night around 8pm and the vibewas very relaxed and chill. Our server was very polite and funny and most of all. Our food was exceptionally good asalways. I'm not a wine guy but my wife loves their monthly wines and all. I go there for their meats. Even the veggies areseasoned properly. Ate out on the patio, it began to rain suddenly, however it was still a good vibe. The manager and waitress came to assist with... exchanging tables. Main course was too salty, however starters & appetizers were delicious. The management removed item frombill and offered chef to remake it however we declined offer. Cooper's Hawk Winery Very nice Restaurant to go with family and friends or celebrate any special ocation, we went to celebrate... our little first year of P-K yay!They also make him feel very special. We order appetizers ,drinks and amazing food. We order aShrimp appetizers with cream guacamole with a soft flavor of lime involve in a crunchy bacon ..(Was fantastic) Drinks BloodyMary signature of cooper's Hawk was very testy it came with a side of glass of crafted Ale beer and a skewer with cheddarcheese,hard salami,shrimp, pickle and olive. White Russian with a touch of caramel. Sangría with dried orange( verytasty.) Red sparkling wine (to have with the salmon) Crafter Ale beer cooper's Hawk "signature" they do not make beer BUT theydo brewing they own wine. Then our entrée was Rib Risotto with truffles flavor and a very savory parmesan cheese. Salmon glasie with garlic butter puree. Jambalaya shrimp with flavory spicies. I live in Orlando but had dinner here tonight while having business and visiting with family in the Chicago area. Cooper's Hawk... in Orland Park is as good as the ones in Orlando. Love their food in the services was very good. I will continue to eat at thisrestaurant chain. Read more
