I absolutely loved the lemon mint drink???????????????????? even though it was not the same price as the menu....it was more! ... The meal was good. Very disappointing. It's been sketchy coming here to eat. Food and service. However, this time was the last. Service was the... worst. Food brought out was not made right. Told the owner and all he does is smirk at you. Very condescending. Didn'trectify anything.....didn't care. However, he was really friendly to his "regulars". Will bend over backwards. Well, we willnot be in his "regulars" club. Too bad. We would have liked to be. If you take care of everybody equally and respectfully, youwill have a nice following, however, you are a failure at this. A wrong can be made right. Exceptional food and service. I?ve catered from here for years and they always provide quality food. We enjoyed our time at this cute place in walking distance from the Orland Park Mall. Very friendly staff, large selections of... the dishes: breakfast, salads, dinner entries including sea food and fish, also vegetarian dishes including veggie burgers, anda lot of different drinks and deserts. We dined at Gaston's for the first time tonight and had an amazing experience! The food was fantastic - super fresh, premium... ingredients. You can tell they make their entrees to order as everything came out steaming hot and beautifully decorated. Theprices are very reasonable for a night out, and the portion sizes are massive (definitely expect to take a doggie bag home)!It's been a long time since we've found a restaurant with such great value! Two dishes definitely worth calling out: - Frenchonion soup: Perfectly seasoned (not overly salty, like most restaurants), high quality cheese, and beautifully toasted on top. -Fried Eggplant: Eggplant was super crispy and the accompanying polenta was well seasoned and creamy. Very generous amount offeta cheese sprinkled on top. The portion size on this was huge, especially for the price. The staff definitely deserves a callout as well. They were super friendly, checked up on us frequently, and super quick with requests. One of the other waitresseseven checked in on us a couple times despite the fact that we weren't one of her tables. Really amazing place. Would highlyrecommend for your next night out.
