I?ve been a big fan, and regular diner, at 4 Rivers since they opened the first location in Winter Park, it this was a very... disappointing experience at the University restaurant. They were out of a couple of the sides I wanted and my wife?s ?lean?brisket sandwich was half fat. They have also switched over to Pepsi products, which I dislike and the root beer was out ofsyrup in the drink dispenser. The buns on the sandwiches are smaller than the originals, and really too small for a normalsandwich as these prices. The sweet potato casserole and the smoked turkey was good as always, but only getting 50% of the mealdone right is just not good enough. Read more

Great BBQ! The ribs are fantastic along with the brisket. My wife's uncle gets a full brisket for Thanksgiving from here... periodically and everyone always lines up to make sure they get a slice or four. The pulled pork and burnt ends were alsodelicious. The fried okra is some of the best I've ever had. I can't believe it took me so many years to finally go to a 4Rivers location but I'm sure glad it finally happened. Read more

I'll just start by saying that my Uncle works for this company although I'm not sure what location. However, the time that I've... had this food was when the catered food for my grandmother's repast. Everyone loved the food! Today was the first time that Iordered on my own. I got the burnt ends platter, with mac and cheese, baked beans and corn. Before leaving the restaurant Ichecked my bag and it literally looked like there was a corner of meat in the container. I went back to the counter and told thegirl, she weighed it and it was determined that they didn't give me the right portion. When I got to my car, I took the food outthe bag to eat. The burnt ends was cold and dry, the cornbread was cold the mac and cheese was watery!! The corn & baked beanswere the only things that was was hot and tasty. This was a complete waste of money and I am very disappointed. Read more

Got an early dinner after arriving in Orlando from Dulles airport. The staff are mostly UCF students, which is the reason we... were visiting (I'm a future Knight in fall 2022). They were friendly and there are lots of menu options. The food was tasty, butwe wished it was a bit warmer. The cornbread was the only thing we didn't care for. The dark meat chicken was our favorite. Thebread pudding is so good, definitely get that as a side! Read more

Definitely glad we stopped here. The good first - The pulled pork was probably THE best I have ever had. EVER! With the... perfect amount of smoke and the meat just melted in my mouth. The sliced turkey was moist and most places it gets dried out butthis was not. There was a layer of fat around it that could have al least been cut off before served but over allgood. Atmosphere was great. You could sit inside and there was plenty of covered seating with a soda fountain and all thecondiments you need outside. The mac n cheese had a creamy texture and the noodles weren't overcooked and mushy. The place wassuper clean. They have their own bakery. Which looked like a lot of goodies however we did not have any. The sauces wereclearly labeled so you knew what you were getting ready to taste. The not so good ~ Upon arrival they were not busy. We hadnever been here so it would have been nice if one of the 5 workers would have asked if we had questions or offeredsuggestions. The fries and okra were barely warm. And that was disappointing. The fries had the perfect hint of seasoning onthem but just were not fresh. Burnt ends. They had a great sauce on them - a little sweet and a little spice bit not too much. However most of the half pound that i ordered was dried out. They were cubes of meat and were almost hardnas rocks. I wasbummed by this because you very rarely find burnt ends on menus down here and I was excited. Overall, I would go back ifsomeone with me wanted to go, I just would order differently. Read more

Love this BBQ location. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is delicious and employees are friendly. I ordered dinner for the... family as a takeout. I got my son the hot dog and Mac and cheese, which he loved. My wife got a bowl off the inflation menu (sofunny). I ordered the brisket platter which i believe there brisket and signature sauce is one of a kind. Definitely recommend. Read more
