I can say that this takeout food was amazing. We ordered ribs and brisket, they were very tasty and highly appreciated! This is... not a restaurant and it's hidden place within a gas station store. But the owners were extremely nice and you can see that themeat they prepared took time to be ready and carries a lot of care and taste. Very nice! Read more
Found this incredible gem while looking for BBQ with a friend in town! The moment we stepped inside we were hit with the... delicious scents of the BBQ from the back. Our cashier was so kind and helpful. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, ribs and somesides: macaroni and cheese, potato salad, collars greens, and beans. Everything was exactly what I would want it to be! WheneverI order BBQ I always want collard greens, but am usually disappointed. This place finally delivered what I was looking for! Ialso got the pineapple lemonade- sweet and delicious. We will be back and we DEFINITELY recommend. As stated in another review,we were also drawn in by the siren call of the smoker out back, but you need to head inside the the building to order your BBQ????. Read more
BBQ FOR THE WIN We were on vacation from out of town and had a craving for bbq so we looked up some local places and this came... up. The reviews were good and they didn?t disappoint! The person at the counter was very nice and had all our food ready uponarrival. We also got the pineapple lemonade which was SUPER SWEET but good - we added some water to it and drank off those twocups for 3 days ???? We got the brisket , ribs and pulled pork and we really enjoyed it - we also got a few sides - all prettygood ! Reasonable prices and no frills so if you just want a solid place to eat this is it ! ?? PRO TIP: the counter is insidethe building not outside so walk in and all the way to the back and pick up your food there. I was super confused when i pulledinto the parking lot . Trust the process ! When you order a pound here, you get a pound here. When you order a slab here, you get a slab here. No BS like chain BBQ... joints that pass off skimpy weights and measures. Ribs, chicken and brisket all done perfectly with that hint of smoke. Bestgreens I?ve had in a long time and the mac and cheese is how it should be. Service takes a minute, but you got a minute. *Located in the gas station* but don't let that deter you! Owners used to be located in Eatonville which was good to know bc I... had been looking for their key lime cake???????????? lol. That was the bad news.... they were out of the cake BUT the (goodnews) brisket and ribs were on point! I got a pound of brisket and a full slab of ribs for 37.xx. Served with 2 pieces of whitebread. Didn't even need extra sauce... the brisket was tender and the ribs were flavorful. Definitely going back soon... whenthe cake ???? will be in. Nice service also!! Look, I'm not from the area but I have been working in Orange County for the last 6weeks. One day I googled Bar-B-Que near me, I... found this local GEM. A very pleasant experience, from the interaction I had with other customers, to the cashier food preplady, all the way down to the cook. Just awesome!!! Now to the food, listen I couldn't decide on what to try first so I ordereda rib sandwich and chicken sandwich, ???? and when I tell you they wasn't playing with the grill.
