I have ordered from several Bonchon restaurants around the US and this is the worst experience I have had. The wings we received... are in no way "Korean Fried Chicken". We received soggy non double fried wings so they were somewhat raw inside and had 0 crunchlike advertised. Not sure what is going on but this is not the recipe that Bonchon uses, i have ordered in 4 other states andalways get a good product. Cannot recommend this to anyone. Bonchon HQ should visit this store and do quality control. Read more

Just ordered via Ubereats. Wings were not all breaded. No Crunch at all and gooey. I ordered from here many times as this was... my go to Korean wings spot. I called and the “manager” rudely said that they are breaded while refusing to let me send apicture. The “owner” asked me to send the picture which I sent the one attached. He said that’s what they look like. So Iguess they changed the recipe. I won’t be going back there. Read more

My partner and I went last Saturday, and our waitress did an amazing job taking care of every single customer who walked through... the door. Between the to-go orders and dine-in, she was very sweet and great with communication! We had the soy garlic wings andhave been craving them every day since! The batter is crispy and they are not shy in flavor. I highly recommend this place toanyone in the Waterford area. Read more

Service was good but restaurant only had one other party seated. I moved from Chicago and am used to a very good BonChon... experience. After looking over the menu we ordered to learn that all the items we wanted were not available. It would have beennice if the server pointed out the out-of-stock items when we were seated. The food we did order was good (not great like normalperfectly cooked crispy chicken we like) and took longer than expected to arrive from the kitchen. Read more

The quality has gone way down. We’ve enjoyed BonChon over the years but like most companies these days, we were served low... quality food at a higher price point. The portion of coleslaw I received was a joke and might as well not have been served withmy meal. We will not be eating here again. Read more

So we were out shopping around Black Friday, and we didn't have time to prepare a meal at home, so we had to try and find... something good to eat in the Waterford area. This place had been on our radar for a few years, actually, but we just never madeit in. Well, this was our night. We wander in, get seated, and get started. So we order a couple of starters. Shrimp Shumai(Steamed or fried shrimp dumplings drizzled with honey dijon dressing). Very good! We got them fried, per our server'srecommendation. There weren't huge pieces of shrimp, but the flavor was perfuse throughout the dumpling. Not too oily. I was afan. Takoyaki (Fried octopus dumplings drizzled with Japanese mayonnaise, katsu sauce and sprinkled with bonito flakes). Thiswas super interesting. The fritter itself was lovely, with huge chunks of meat in there, and they weren't too chewy. TheJapanese mayo just goes good on Everything. And the bonito flakes added a fun texture. Ok, enough fluff. Onto the main event. The Korean Fried Chicken wings (Served with a complimentary side of pickled radish or coleslaw). We got the Half & Half Combo(wings and drums). So we got both flavors, Soy Garlic & Spicy. Yelp, I gotta tell you, I found the best chicken wings inOrlando. I know there are great wing joints out there, but they are not as good as these wings were. These huge, juicy wingswere as crispy as crispy could be. And they were sauced so perfectly. Not too little, not too much. Of course, some of thepeople reading this might think that any of the spicy sauce might be too much. It wasn't ridiculously spicy, but itlingered. The radish helped cool things down a bit. But seriously, I don't think I've been anywhere better for wings. Go checkthis place out. Read more

Super Salty $40.00 chicken drenched in sauce. I am pretty regular customer of Bonchon, because my wife is Korean and loves... their wings. On 9 Sept 21, We ordered the a Soy-Garlic combo of 15 wings and 8 drums for a cost of $39.67, Order #17041585. When we got home and tried the chicken we discovered that it had been drenched in sauce and it was so salty we could not eat it.I called the store and talked the the manager on duty, told her my problem and she offered a refund, but said the owner wouldneed to process it and it could take 3 days. She wrote down my order info, my name and number and said the owner would contactme. Its been 3 days and the owner still has not contacted me nor have I received a refund. I am not sure why owner doesn'tempower the manager to process refunds, but that's their decision. These pictures are of the box with the sauce. Bonchonchicken is supposed to be brushed on not drenched. Not sure why the sauce was so salty, but I know I couldn't be the onlyperson complaining about the chicken that day. Here pictures of the pool of sauce covering the bottom of the box. I still hopeto hear from the owner and get my money back, but my hope is fading. Update: The owner contacted me and refunded the fullamount. So I will am changing my score to 2 stars. Read more
