NO WHERE TO SIT AND WAIT ON YOUR FOOD AT THIS RESTAURANT. First let me start by saying that have some delicious food, and my... husband likes eating there. HOWEVER, they don?t do have a place for anyone to sit when order and waiting on your food to beprepared. My husband has some health issues and can?t stand for a long period of time. So I took down one of the chairs theyhad to the side for him to sit wait for his food. When this woman came run out the kitchen saying we are not doing dine inanymore only take out. I said yes, we know, he is sitting in the chair waiting for his food because he can?t stand for too long. So the lady said , ?he is not suppose to be even sitting down in the chair because we don?t want anyone to say they gotmonkeypox or covid from our restaurant. ? I just looked at her like ????????, seriously? I asked if you can get his food readywe can leave. So she looked ???? at our ticket and went back to the kitchen to get my husband food. So if you are handicap,elderly, or have health issues you might not want to eat here because they can?t accommodate while you wait on your food to beprepare. For the first time today it wasn?t the lady attitude but the FOOD!!! I always order 2 things because I?m always under the... impression that one won?t be right! The Brown Stewed chicken was almost black today, it was tremendously dry and no flavor atall. I got a large and didn?t want to waste my money today as I have previous times so I took it back into the store. I nicelytold her that the food didn?t look right, it was not good/ flavorless and even went on to say it tasted old. She told me 4people ordered it and no one else brought it back, I told her I live 45 miles away and if I didn?t look in the box I wouldn?thave brought it back either because I would have been too far to bring it back. I asked her if I could swap it out for somethingelse or if she had a different pot of stew chicken but she refused to offer me anything else because she said it was just cookedtoday. Mind you I had already spent $34 so I bought oxtails for $22 because I was hungry and didn?t want to stop which that waseven horrible. 4 Fatty oxtails which tasted as if they were warmed up from the day before also. I ordered them to heap a coal onher head for not making sure that I was satisfied with my food, I thought her heart would be touched to even allow me to pay thedifference and take the old food back but I see it?s still waxed cold. So I spent $56 and wasn?t satisfied at all! I will not bereturning at this point because overall she doesn?t respect her customers or their hard earned money by serving terrible food,old food and delivering garbage customer service. Read more
The service is warm and friendly but the food is over priced for the quality! The rice was over cooked and mushy. But the fish... ????????????was TERRIBLE! I had the escovich, the fish was hard, dry and chewy! Huge disappointed!!!! I through it in the trash!This wad truly a wasted $17.00! Lesson learned. I should have bought my fish and cooked it at home. Y'all Must do better! Read more
I?ve been coming here for the past 18 years and I can say that the food has been consistently delicious and the beer cold.... Dining is no frills and that?s what you?d expect. This is a family run business and I can say that I almost feel like family,since I?ve been visiting this place for at least 17 years. If, you want authentic Jamaican food...then stop in and let yourpalette become delighted. PS: still the best jerk chicken in the Greater Orlando area. Read more
You gotta try the chicken patties. They're Curry and to die for. Make sure you grab yourself a Caribbean drink from the cooler.... I suggest Irish sea moss or ginger beer! Read more
