Located in the heart of Lake Nona, this place had good service, great tasting food and nice furnishings with a very hip and... modern feel to it all. My wife and I stopped here for Sunday brunch and wow... it was soooo good! This place seemed to behopping with patrons and was very lively. We both ordered the "Corned Beef Hash" dish, which our waiter recommended after askinghim about a few other dishes. When it was served I thought to myself that it wasn't such a large portion but looks weredeceiving in this case because about half way through I became quite full. It tasted super yummy. My wife felt the same way. Wereally enjoyed everything that this place had to offer and would not hesitate to pop in here again sometime. Wonderful! Read more
Loved the dining experience here. The wait staff is exceptional nice and helpful. The atmosphere was beautiful with lots of... natural light and modern decor. The food was good as well. I had the chicken and waffles. This could use more syrup, but greatflavor nonetheless I give it 8.5/10. Lamb sliders were juicy and the the bread was soft. I give it 8/10. The roasted potatoeswere unexpectedly spicy and crunchy. Didn’t taste bad, just not my preference. I give that 6.5/10. Overall great experienceand will definitely return. Read more
The atmosphere is beautiful, and there are several options of places to sit. There is an outside area and several insides. We... decided to stay at the bar so we wouldn't have to wait for a table to become available. The waiter who served us at the bar wasgreat, super attentive, and had a great sense of humor. The drinks were good, and the food was also delicious and wellpresented. I recommend booking a table if you want to go after 6 pm on the weekend. Read more
Chroma Modern Bar is was one of those pleasant surprises. The only reason we decided to give it a try was our desire to find a... location near the airport as we had plans to pick up our kids as they were arriving from a flight. So I did a quick Googlesearch read the reviews, looked at the menu and thought wow thats looks like an interesting place. What surprised me was I hadnever heard of it before. Its a beautiful place, built to serve the Lake Nona area. Great size bar, a ton of specialty drinks,open kitchen, with ample indoor seating and outdoor seating. They also take reservations which is always a bonus. Last noteabout the location itself, they have a large parking garage as well. It's always a bonus when the location is nice but itdoesn't mean anything if the food is good and boy does Chroma hit the spot. Its a modern Tapas restaurant with such an amazingassortment of different foods. We came hungry but we tried far more dishes then we expected because it was so delicious. Ourfavorites are pictured below, but I have to say the Pork Belly Pad Thai was special and the Guava and Goat Cheese Flat breadwhere the stars of the show. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and amazing interior and outdoor design. From the moment I walked in, I was amazed by... these features. The options on the menu were neither limited nor vast. They have a one page menu with variety of choices betweensalads, sea food, and meats. I ordered burger and lamb sliders and my friend ordered burger and brisket sliders. The sliderportions were small (as it should be) but there were only two for each order (we were expecting three :) ). Anyway, my burgerand lamb sliders were very dry and I would prefer a small cheese burger from five guys to my whole order. My friend alsodidn’t like his brisket slider, he said the meat was too dry. In summary, I wouldn’t recommend the food I had there to myfriends but I would encourage them to try going there for the design. Read more
Great location near Boxi Park in Lake Nona. We were seated outdoors and had a wonderful view of the Holiday show (we dined on... New Years Eve) This is a tapas restaurant but the portions were a nice size. Started with the fried goat cheese balls and theywere scrumptious! For an entree I ordered the crisp pork belly pad Thai and it was wonderful- packed with loads of flavor andtextures (includes nuts ) For dessert we ordered the bread pudding and key lime pie. Be aware that the desserts are prettysmall and not really made to share. The key lime pie was light and fluffy - one of the best I’ve ever had. This is a greatplace to people watch, eat outdoors in comfort or there is plenty of seating indoors where there is A/C. Highly recommend. Read more
I wish I could give Chroma 100 stars. Everything about this place was amazing from the mellow ambiance to the delicious food to... the outstanding customer service we received today. Our server was Alina and I must say that she was spectacular. She wasextremely friendly, always smiling, welcoming and explained everything clearly. I hope that when I go back She is my serveragain because she truly is a gem. The food was out of this world delicious. We had the crab dip, bacon, waffles, lamb sliders,loaded potatoes and fish and chips. Read more
