"Freshii, a fast food chain headquartered in Toronto, has already started to outsource cashier jobs to workers based in places... like Nicaragua, according to National Public Radio. A customer reported to NPR that as they were heading to pay for their mealat a Toronto location, they noticed that instead of a live cashier at the checkout counter they were guided to a tablet-sizedscreen. The screen then showed the face of a woman who was working as a virtual cashier, though while the customer was inToronto, the employee was processing the order thousands of miles away from her home country of Nicaragua." This was my first time at Freshii. We got southwest bbq and Mediterranean bowl. Both were super delicious and very fresh. We... also tried their Elixir Immune shot which was amazing. Andreas was really helpful and kind. This will be our favourite go toplace for a quick bite. Read more
This is my favorite place to go to for a loaded green bowl ???????????????? They have vegan options which is great and a big... plus for me! Favorite smoothie: Recoverii (without honey), and favorite bowl: Oaxaca with bbq sauce instead of the yogurt one???????????? Staff is friendly as well. Recommended ????!! Read more

Not recommended for large groups or events. Received an unsolicited text from the Freshii location owner after a botched... corporate catering job for 22 people. I placed the order 72 hours in advance. The delivery was >10 minutes late (which is aproblem with corporate schedules) and included 22 assorted energii bowls + 2 dozen individually wrapped energii bites. Per theowner, my expectation to receive 24 individually wrapped energii bite packages wasn?t correct, despite description saying?individually wrapped.? Per her explanation, I should have expected to receive 7 individual packages with 3 servings perpackage. We received 12 individual packages containing a total of 36 bites. Not sure if the owner leverages algebra,trigonometry, or astronomy here with this mental numerical gymnastics assertive defense of the minor error: if you order order2 dozen, you should expect 7, but receive 12. I can?t ask 22 professionals to ?open and share? their food. Regardless, thecatering coordinator (a 3rd party) refunded the $12 delivery fee after I called in a panic asking where the food was after notreceiving the ?on the way? text 5 mins before confirmed delivery time. Later the catering company refunded the cost of themissing dozen energii bites after I sent a short email requesting the refund due to missing item. All in all - $500 total orderw/$100 tip to the owner directly (as she delivered it herself) and I still got the nasty-gram pseudo-math text from the owner. Unbelievable. Rating low for catering due to timing unreliability, order inaccuracy, and the unsolicited unfriendly text afterthe fact. +1-star as a few at the event commented they liked their bowls. Read more
