Great Portuguese restaurant. 1st time visit was an awesome experience. The food was great, the staff very friendly ( Roberto and... Carla are the best), it was my daughter's birthday and they even got a custard ( pastel de nata ) with a small candle and we allsang happy birthday to her. Overall was a great choice and I totally recommend it. Read more

Traditional Cuisine of Portugal restaurant located in the international cuisine packed Dr Phillips Marketplace. Lisbon has been... operating in Orlando for almost 10 years and a couple of years ago has moved to this new location. I visited the restaurant fordinner with co-workers and was excited because I love Portuguese cuisine. We had a really great service and our server Carla wasvery attentive, courteous and pleasant making sure we enjoyed our time in the establishment. Traditional Portuguese fado musicwas playing in the background. The place has ceramic tile walls which really adds to the Portuguese mood. There’s an abundantchoice of cod fish dishes on Lisbon’s menu and I ordered the Bacalhau na Telha which was 2 generous cuts of cod fish preparedin a ceramic tile garnished by red potatoes, chorizo, garlic, onions with plenty of olive oil and a tiny side of black eyed piessalad. I had an very smooth Alentejano Red Wine blend to pair with my food. The dish was well cooked and tasted good butdidn’t make a stellar impression. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good but I was expecting to be impressed. Some of mycoworkers ordered the Bitoque which is a smaller version of the house’s Bife a Portuguesa (Portuguese Steak) and they werecomplimentary of the dish. Same goes to other participants who ordered a regular Grilled Salmon which is not really atraditional item of the culinary of Portugal. The restaurant in fact has a wealthy choice of typical Portuguese culinary staplesin particular seafood. Octopus à Lagareiro is one of them. Check the menu in their website. I recommend the place because ofits great service and ambience and its variety of traditional Portuguese dishes that come in generous portions. I intend to comeback and try another item of the menu and, who knows, maybe I will be impressed. ???? Read more

We never had Portuguese food before and this restaurant was the perfect first experience. From the blue porcelain decor to the... clean, open kitchen, we knew it was a special and authentic place. The branzino was the BEST I've ever had. The hot crispy skinbreaks open to tender flakes of fish; oils and salts and marinatation melt, climaxing to a symphony in your mouth. The plate ofcod, potatoes, and carrots sizzles as it hit the table, the smell wafting deliciously under our noses. The octopus was extremelytender and paired with a flavorful sauce. Only the kid's menu was underwhelming with a plate of rice, fried, and cubes of steak. But we will definitely come back again. Read more

Very delicious cod with cheese. It has been my favorite dish so far. The portions were just right and the food was amazing. The... employees were super friendly. Although they were, for the most part, Brazilian, it felt like we were really in Portugal. Theambiance was super nice and romantic. I would definitely recommend this place! Read more

We were in Orlando for the weekend and made it a point to have dinner at Lisbon Portuguese Restaurant. We made reservations for... Saturday dinner and arrived on time (my wife, son and I). We were greeted and seated immediately. The vibe in the restaurant istruly authentic Portuguese. The place is beautifully decorated with all the right touches and decor that makes for a greatPortuguese cuisine experience. Our waitress was perfect, she provided great service throughout the whole evening. There was asteady flow of people coming in to enjoy a nice dinner. We ordered Caldo Verde (Kale soup) and Pasteis de Bacalhau forappetizers, both were perfectly made and very tasty. Dinner was the Bacalhau na Telha, Carne de Porco Alentejana (my wife'sfavorite) and Camarao a Chef (son's favorite) - each plate with ample portions and cooked and served ever so elegantly. I askedthat my Bacalhau be cooked well, and the chef hit the spot with just the way I like it. We truly enjoyed the cuisine andambiance, with Portuguese music playing in the background and all the traditional Portuguese decor throughout the restaurant. Wehave been many times to their Fado Restaurant in downtown St. Petersburg and we were never disappointed and now LisbonRestaurant Orlando is exceptional as well. If you have never tried Portuguese food, I highly recommend it, the fresh meats, fish, vegetables plates, soups, and Portuguese bread are vibrant, rich and full of flavor, and deserts are heavenly sweets.
