My first time here to enjoy myself.!! I came in and wanted to sit to the bar and was greeted(by a white female) and told me I... couldn?t and escorted me to a table to far end of restaurant!! My server CIA was amazing (the only one on the floor), made sureI was ok and had what I needed (very friendly and helpful).!! As I left, I approached the lady at the bar(laughing and chucking)with people who was allowed to sit and eat.!! Really?? But I was escorted and told no.!! She then told me she was themanager(white woman with glasses) and wasn?t sure why people where allowed to sit and eat but she sure enjoyed their companywith the laughs and giggles.!!! Best bartender ever! Anna so nicely connected the two young men while they were eating and it was lovely. She advised me and my... niece on what to get and it was the daily special and it was fantastic. We went her on Googles recommendation. We had to get off of the interstate and it was a little out of our way. We were not... disappointed though. I had coconut shrimp for starters. They were very good and I loved the marmalade sauce. My man got a steambag with crab and shrimp and I got the poboy with sweet potatoes fries. We kept saying we were going to try this place for more than a year and really hate that we waited so long. We found absolutely... nothing to complain about in our visit. The calamari is the best we have had anywhere, the clam chowder was awesome, the catfishwas perfect, the tilapia was amazing, the beer fresh and icy-cold, and the people all happy, friendly, and accommodating.And...for a seafood restaurant, they even have some good tasting Buffalo wings. My first time here, ordered the Calamari as well as the Seafood Rice, it was fantastic. The calamari was huge! It was also very... fresh, tender and tasty! The Seafood Rice was amazing, it was a very big portion, definitely enough for two. Our waitress Katiewas great, she was very friendly and answered all our questions! Wonderful place to eat. I was very pleasantly surprised at the service AND the food. I brought my family for a quick bite to... eat, really not expecting much. But my god the food was really good and tasty. I could have eaten more and wish the price was abit lower so I could have ordered more but the flavor of the food was just perfect.
