My daughter recommend Jesse's so hard to find BBQ on a Sunday that is open. We were so blessed with great customer service,... everyone was so happy, the food was delicious. We order the ribs, fried fish, chicken wings, mac and cheese, seafood rice. Andthe pound cake so damn good. Home-cooked food, the staff was friendly so nice. I loved the fact that the food reminds me of a home BBQ! I also enjoyed seeing the smoke coming out of the back of the building!... It was definitely authentic. I just wish the food was served in plates and the utensils weren?t plastic but I get the conceptthey were going for. I also have to point out that the staff was not very friendly and it didn?t really make me feelcomfortable, a smile goes a LONG way! They almost seemed bothered that we walked in. The owner was in the middle of therestaurant looking at ?the books? and didn?t really acknowledged you were in the building. I also didn?t really get why I wasserved a piece of ?wonder-bread? with my meal instead of incorporating a better piece of bread with the meal; it was underneaththe ribs so by the time I got to it, it was really soggy! For the price they charge I would expect a better atmosphere, betterdinnerware; just a much more put together meal and service. Read more

The double headed shrimp and lobster is amazing. Their homemade sauces are fantastic too! Love this place!
