I've been here twice now, so I figured it's time to leave a review. The immediate area can be a little off-putting at first... glance. There are some buildings and roads in disrepair, including an abandoned hotel with a pile of toilets in the middle ofits second story balcony. However, I never saw anyone shady wandering around and it's pretty close to a busy tourist area. Theinside of the restaurant is clean and well kept with some interesting decor. The owners are super nice people who love sharingtheir culture with new guests. I had never tried Ethiopian before coming here, but the food is superb. I recommend getting thechef's special sampler platter, so you can try a bit of everything. They also have some imported Ethiopian beers that are verygood, as well as a delicious honey wine called Tej which is served in a potion bottle and basically tastes like fruity mead. Theprices are pretty reasonable, not cheap or expensive. It's worth checking out if you're in the area. Read more
