For years visiting this place has been a highlight of my day and sometimes week. The selection of food is authentic to the... Southern Soul Food Roots that has blessed people for generations. The Best Mac and Cheese in the area and the only place to findOx Tails this good. With portions as generous as theirs you can not be hungry after this plate. To anyone looking for delicious,generously portioned, southern comfort food, this is the Only place I'd recommend going in Orlando. Love this place. Read more
I ordered for pickup through Uber eats. I added a note TWICE saying extra gravy I even said please. Luckily I checked my order... before I left to see there was ZERO gravy on my platter. I go back inside to ask for gravy. The girl rudely says ?it?s alreadyon it? clearly from my picture there was NONE but even if it was, if I want more gravy then I should be able to get more. AnywayI reply back that ?I?ve opened the container and there?s no gravy at all? she then puts some ?chicken broth water? in a smallcontainer and gives it to me with attitude. So I never received any gravy. It all looks good but trust me everything picturedwas absolutely FLAVORLESS. The only good tasting thing about this meal was the small cornbread muffin. This is why I hatesupporting black owned businesses. They want your money but can?t provide quality service and have ugly staff members. Read more

We visited this charming soul food restaurant during our trip to Orlando and I must say, we made the right decision. What... impressed us beyond the great food options were the staff. They were so engaging and allowed us to sample a few options beforesettling on their scrumptious oxtails with great flavor and tenderness. We also enjoyed their turkey wings. I almost wish Ihad not inquired about desserts because the red velvet and German chocolate cake just melted in your mouth. So delicious. Wehave found another tourist attraction to enjoy. Yoooo! Ima say this?if u livin in the 407/321 area and haven?t tried this place, u sleep!!! Service was very home feeling and... helpful! First time visit and I can?t lie, the cook was right?the oxtail plate was next level! We live in the 352 and the plateswere def worth the trip!!! This was my first time coming here and the food was great. I ordered yellow rice with oxtails, green beans and cabbage. It came... with cornbread. For the drink I got sweet tea. The oxtails was overly good, tender, and falls right off the bone. The sweet teais wayyyyyy better than McDonald's sweet tea!! Give this place this a try!! Read more
This place is tucked away in an indoor mall type setting. The owners P & D (and their staff) are warm & friendly. I didn't like... is the grey bottom on the whiting. It caused the fish to have a fishy taste. And the sour cream pound cake didn't have muchflavor. Other than that the food is good & filling with nice size portions.
