y?all always have my back!! i moved to the ucf area last year and lemme tell you i was a little skeptical at first because my... hometown pollo tropical is bussin but never ever open. I enjoy Pollo Tropical but lately, it hasn't been the best. For starters the rice was only half full, we only got one fried yuca... when we asked for two, and got no bread. When we had Pollo Tropical in the past we also experienced not-so-pleasant things.There was a time with it seemed they didn't give us 2 whole chickens and only used one chicken separated into two boxes. Something is wrong with this specific location. This is 4th time I been here when each time I try to order anything with steak... they never have it. Today I waited 15 min in the drive thru and they charged me for a platter that they didn't have avaliable,so I ordered another platter, which was cheaper. Insted of refund they tried to compensate by giving sides. When I selectedthe side, they said two of them are unavailable. Finally I deleted whatver they had avaliable. Once I got home, I noticed theydidn't add anything what they punched in and what the recipe was showing. All three sides were missing. They burnt all my platano maduros and the ones they didn?t burn were very undercooked. I also asked for a good amount of garlic... cilantro cus I love the sauce. And when I get to my job I open the bag and see no sauce. The lack of sauce and the burntplantains had me livid. I paid 17$ for this garbage. Read more
The worst pollo tropical I?ve ever been to. I asked to replace a menu item and manager said no. I asked the server for extra... gravy in my black beans and he added water to the dried up beans before serving them to me. After receiving my order the sideorder of avocado I ordered looked nothing like their advertisement ? manager said that?s always like that and did not offer meany alternative? adding insult to injury she was rude and unapologetic? they will never see my business ever again!!! Ordered A Cuban Sandwich, Have been there many times, Food was Great before, my last visit. My Cuban Sandwich was not the same... as normal. Bread was gooey, The meat was as not the same, not tasty, less Pork than Normal. It just tasted old. Read more
