I attended a private dinner at this location and the server Johnny was absolutely amazing. His attentiveness and personality... made the event fantastic. Food was delicious as well but would not have been enjoyed as much with our superb A+ service byJohnny. I would definitely be back and requesting Johnny as my server. We went to Ruth's Chris this past Saturday night to celebrate my birthday. We normally go to Fleming's for my birthday, but I... had heard many good things about Ruth's Chris and I wanted to try something new, so we ventured out.....boy was I let down. Forstarters we were seated and it took the server a little over 13 minutes to even greet us. When the first gentleman came over heexplained he was just there to give us water and that he thought Melissa would be our server and she would be right over. Thenanother 10/12 minutes goes by and our server came over. Asked us if anyone had been over to see us and we told him just theyoung man with the water, he then told us that he and another person would be taking care of us as a partnership. He asked if wewere ready to order and of course we were. We ordered our full meal including drinks at this time. Our salad and soup came outfirst and the Lobster Bisque was not very warm, the salad was excellent. Our drinks came out after that, which were good. Iasked to trade out my not so warm soup for salad which he said was fine. We didn't see him again after that until well afterour meals came out. My salad bowl ended up on the table until the very end of it dining. My Medium-rare filet with the OscarStyle topper came out medium-well and the topper was dry and overdone also. I was not happy at this time and we had to flagsomeone down to get our server to come over. He did have another filet made for me and I opted to forgo the Oscar topper thistime. The new filet was much better, but still not correct. We again had to wait and flag him down to order our dessert. Oncewe received that we ate it, and then sat so long another server can't over to ask if needed anything and if we had seen ourserver. She got him to bring our check, which he then stood and waited for while explaining to us that he does not like MagicalDining and is very happy that it is ending. Went to Ruth Chris during the Magical Dining Event and had the 3 course meal $40 fix price. I had the lobster bisque soup. It... was okay but should of been better. Publix fresh made lobster bisque was better. I had the petite filet mignon and added theblue cheese crust to it. It was very good and the blue cheese crust topping was a good added flavor. Steak is there Forte. Itcame to the table still sizzling on a hot plate. It looked sizzling good. I added on for an extra price the lobster mac andcheese. It was huge and good. I had to take half of it home to finish the next day. I had the cheesecake with berries fordesert. Smaller than usual and round instead of wedge shape. Was good. If you go outside of Magical Dining time it will be about$100 per person. The Cowboy Ribeye Steak is $75 but it must be good because they know how to do steak. Ruth Chris is a premiersteak house. A solo happy hour date at Ruth's Chris led to a very happy me. I went to Ruth's and ordered the pomegranate martini and tried... their Prime Cheeseburger (happy hour). The drinks here are PHENOMENAL. I could have stayed there for the drinks alone. Mybartender was also attentive and personable. The burger, however, wasn't as amazing as I wished it be sure to the name but mylife for a soft bun could have played a role in that. I was glad to buy the burger at a happy hour price. For dessert, I HAD totry the bread pudding and an espresso martini (I LOVE espresso martinis) and neither of them disappointed. The bread puddingcomes warm and moist and the splash of Bailey's I asked for in my martini paired right along with it. All I needed was a blanketand a lounge chair! I'll definitely be returning but I'll certainly opt for a steak next time to give a true rating, but I waspleased with my outing AND I had some bread pudding left over to take home. Read more

Absolutely amazing! The food is phenomenal. The steak is perfectly cooked. Drinks are strong and tasty. The side dishes are... divine. Get the sweet potato casserole, it will change your life!!! The service is stellar as well. Zero complaints about thisestablishment. Read more

My first and last time dining at Ruth Chris on Sandlake. I guess my expectations where set too high. My wife's steak was way... undercooked. The lobster Mac and cheese had no truffle flavor and the lobster meat was dry, definitely not a $25 dollar side.The Hostess, were unprofessional from the start, talking down about guest after they sat them. The ladies at the Hostess stand,allowed some to enter with hats and hoods. When I questioned them her response was, someone had a medical issue so he could wearone ????. The Executive Chef came out into the dining room but never asked anyone how they were enjoying the food, he sat at atable with his friends, unprofessional. This restaurant isn't cheap. People come here for memories and celebrations. Definitelywouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to go out for a nice dinner. Wonderful food to amazing service. Jake in valet was very fast and on point. Our server Dan made our anniversary very special... with his amazing service and sense of humor. And he knew exactly what to recommend. Josh the manager made us feel very specialand cared for. Only con was that we had to wait an extra 15 minutes for our reservation even though we arrived 15 minutes early.So total 30 minute wait. But, other than that the experience was perfect and the food melts in your mouth with a burst offlavor. Read more
