A fantastic authentic, fresh and flavorful Indian restaurant. RAM was very helpful describing the items on the menu and had... great hospitality. Started off with the Saffron mix platter which was great and came with amazing sauces. GF ordered the butterchicken in mild but still had lots of flavor. Best I ever had. I ordered the Tandoori mix grill which came out smoking hot andwas amazing. Especially for the value. The garlic naan was on point too. Read more

What a delicious meal! So flavorful and great service. We tried the appetizer sampler, garlic naan, butter chicken and tandoori... platter. The tandoori was SO tender. The butter chicken was perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend both dishes. Our server RAM waskind and had great suggestions. All of the service staff was attentive and friendly. We look forward to eating here again soon. Read more

We went here for dinner on Memorial Day. Despite the holiday, and despite going very close to the closing time ( we went in at... 9:40pm), they were able to accommodate us for dine-in unlike another restaurant a couple of doors away that despite being openrefused to take orders for both carry out and dine-in. And for that, I will always be very grateful to Saffron Indiancuisine. We ordered a tikki for appetizers followed by malai kofta, dal tadka, tandoori roti and raita for main course. Thefood was piping hot, fresh and well spiced. The dal was in fact exceptional- soothing and comforting like you’d expect it tobe. Service was very quick and responsive. Our server Calso did an amazing job. The decor of the place was also good. Woulddefinitely recommend this place for their good food, and good service. Read more

Indian cuisine is the best cuisine on the planet. That's my opinion. Now, I just have to explore all the best Indian places in... Orlando and see what they have to offer me. I'm very rarely in this part of town, but I just happened to be around forsomething, so I was like, omg, let me Finally stop in and see what all the fuss is about. It's in one of those Sand Lake stripmalls that has a bunch of 'fancy' restaurants, and the inside of this place did feel very swanky. Clean, minimal, slightlyBollywood. I felt very at peace and ready in inhale some delicious food. I started off with the Saffron Mix Platter (Assortedplatter with samosa | veg tiki | onion bhajiya | vegetable pakora). I could have eaten pounds of all this stuff. An almosttempura-like vegetable item, Indian onion rings, and a potato ball. Very, very good stuff. And also, if you have never had asamosa before, (Pyramid shaped pastry stuffed | Potatoes | Green peas | Spices), you're missing out on an ethnic food item thatis one of the best in the world, rivaling falafel and churros, in my opinion. So, on to the couple of entrees I ordered. First, the Chicken Korma (Chicken breast | Cashew paste | Rich creamy sauce). Tender, white meat chicken is the main protein here. Thesauce it's served in is very mild, very creamy, and a little cashewy, which adds to the creaminess. Think almond milk vs cashewmilk. It's a little of that comparative creaminess. This was served with a side bowl of basmati rice. Oh so good. Thennn, themain event, the Goat Biryani (Goat | Saffron rice | Aromatic spices). My favorite meal of all time. It's basically asaffron-heavy fried rice with bone-in goat that falls off that bone because of how soft it is. Crazy pungent Indian spices andsuper crispy onion straws on top. You must try biryani. If you're not sure about the goat, get chicken, get shrimp. Whatever ittakes. I realize that this seems like a long ad for Indian food, instead of a review for a restaurant. I know. I' Read more

Their lunch is great value. The lamb biryani is amongst the best I tasted and I grew up in Britian eating Indian food weekly.... Our server Reagan on this visit and the rest of the staff were amazing. Read more

this place easily became my favorite indian restaurant in orlando! it’s quite a small place, there isn’t much seating... available inside so i recommend making a reservation as it can fill up pretty quickly. the staff is incredibly friendly andrespectful. we made a reservation and there was a bit of a mix-up when we arrived but they were super quick to take care of itand seat us. we started with the mix platter that included a variety of items from the appetizer menu (samosa, veg tiki, onionbhajiya, vegetable pakora). we then ordered the mix grill platter, lamb biriyani, butter chicken, veg korma, and peshwarichhole. everything was so delicious and flavorful- not a single complaint! i can’t wait to come back and try more food here!
