They should call it.. Small Shack.. even though the taste is good. The price is so expensive for the quantity. I feel insulted... paying almost 10$ for chicken burger that looks like an appetizer. Just an average experience at the Shake Shack. We?ve been to several all over the country and this one didn?t live up to... expectations. We did like the ordering kiosks/stations where you can select your food and customize it, pay for it, and enteryour phone number for a text when the order is ready. Super convenient. The seating area was really dirty. The few open tableswere all covered with grease and crumbs from previous diners. We had to get a stack of napkins and wet them down and scrub thetable. To be fair we did see an employee later wiping tables down, but it was well into our meal. The table as dirty enoughthat when I stood up and brushed against the side to go get napkins it left a large stain on my shirts from the unknownsubstance on the table (burger pieces/grease). Frustrating. The burger was good. Good flavor, good temperature. The chicken wasvery dry for some reason. I?m not sure if it had been cooked earlier or had been under the heat lamp. The cheese fries wereaverage and so were the bacon cheese fries. The cookies and cream shake was pretty decent, although be prepared to pay extra forwhip cream. Weird. ordered the black truffle burger & bacon shack, along with chocolate vanilla milkshake. both burgers were delicious, with the... right amount of meat, cheese, bread and sauce. every bite was very enjoyable. my fave about shake shack is also its milkshake,which is always yummy and filling. Read more
My first experience at this place. I ordered chocolate shake and smoked shack. The bacon in smoked shack made a huge difference... and it was really good. The shake was ok but not the best. When I saw the pictures on the wall I kind of thought I?m going toget something like that but I got something waaay smaller ???? I think they need to be more realistic. Read more
After hearing so many good things about this place, I finally gave it a try and it did not really live up to the hype. Don?t... get me wrong it was good just not great or cravable. I oredered the Black Truffle Burger and my wife ordered the Smoke Shack. I thought the burger tasted pretty good but was a little on the greasy side. This was probably due to the fried shallots on theburger adding to the grease level. My wife really enjoyed the Smoke Shake. Especially the bacon which she said complimented theother flavours in the burger well. The shakes were just kind of meh and more of the same with the fries.
