Excellent food, friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, comfortable interior seating, and a spacious covered patio for outdoor... dining when the weather is nice. This is one of my favorite spots to meet with friends for lunch in the Waterford Lakes area. The barbecue is of course my favorite, with iced tea brewed just right, and great sides. The skillet cornbread works great as amemorable starter, but I think it goes fine for dessert, too! :D The burgers are great, too, and they don't skimp on theportions or toppings: the meat is always perfect but also if there's lettuce, green leafy lettuce and not that flavorlessiceberg stuff, the tomato slices are red and flavorful and so on. I've been visiting this place since 2017 and my last 2 visits, being the last one on 02/15/22, weren't good. I always order... babyback ribs full rack but lately they have sent a size that cannot be called a 'full rack'. And my last visit the waitressasked me how was the food and I said that could be better because the full rack size apparently is getting smaller. And then shesaid that's how they send to the restaurant. That's not a good explanation, that's not the answer the customer expects to hear.Solve the problem size bringing more food at the first time. And then the manager came to apologize and assume the size that Iorder it's not really a full-rack, and he offered me another half rack, like the last time, and I rejected the offer. Now, if hedoes recognize that's not the proper size for a full-rack, solve the problem before bringing and empty plate to the customer.Don't wait someone complain about it if you know something might happen. Anticipate, be proactive, be better! Anyways, I amdisappointed with this restaurant and I'll visit another one for a better experience. Read more
Smokey Bones is the place to be. From Pennsylvania to Florida I have eaten at a Smokey Bones and its always delicious. Very low... key lighting, intimate place. Watch your step up getting into the booths. Very clean, mellow place with great barbecue. Irecommend the wings. Only disappointment is Smokey Bones removed those delicious onion rings from the menu which for me was thebest appetizer. The loaded cheese fries are a must have. Great spot for a great price. We couldn't decide where to eat, so since we hadn't been to Smokey Bones in quite awhile and remembered they had pretty good... weekly BOGOs, we gave it try. We ordered the Chicken BOGO and our server let us know it would be 20-25 mins so we ordered theBBQ Crowd Pleaser...and it was large and very tasty. Looked just like the photo! In fact our server let us know it was a lot offood in case we wanted to modify our order. The Crowd Pleaser filled the 2 of us up so we got the 2 chicken orders to go. Thatwas the only disappointing part of our review...the Texas Toast were both burned. The chicken was excellent... nicely smoked andvery good sides...a whole smoked chicken and 4 nice sides for $16! Can't beat that! Next time, pls don't burn the toast...and ifyou do, just toss it. Thanks! Read more
Been somewhat of a late night regular. Recently I been coming less and less due to each experience getting worse. A few days ago... I had such a bad experience I will never go back. Came in during happy hour with some friends. We waiting close to 10 minutesbefore a bar tender came behind the bar to take our drink order. Drinks were not made the best. Took forever before she checkedon us again for out food order. We watched the food sit in the pass before coming to us. Plates were so hot it burned our hands.Food was overcooked. Found hair in the sandwich and a cockroach crawled across my plate! Manager on duty didn't seem to care.The GM contacted me but I missed the call and now I tried calling back 3 times and no one is answering me. Horrible managementskills and bad customer experience. Smokey Bones has such a wonderful environment and really awesome staff! Everyone has been super nice and helpful. The bartender... Alyssa provides excellent service and makes some amazing drinks! Brian the manager is also super nice and friendly towardseveryone! (He also makes a mean cocktail) All around great experience, will definitely be back again! Read more
