I only give 2 stars because the food was good. However, the service sucked. We were nearly the only people in the restaurant so... I can?t blame the lack of service to it being busy. No help with a child seat. Got one myself seat was dirty had to cleanit. Water ran out didn?t get a refill until late. Asked for change in ingredient in one of the sushi since I am allergic toshrimp and the the waiter said they do not accommodate for that. Food came and we weren?t given utensils to eat with. The workeris so busy watching the game that he doesn't even bring the check over after seeing me put the baby seat back. This isn't thefirst time we've had lack of service here. Figured we'd give it another shot. Definitely will not be coming back. 5pm nov 13 Read more

Service was alright, given that the server was a bit slow to bring out the food. Clean appearance and lots of upbeat tunes... playing in the background - ambiance felt light and modern. Started off by ordering the steamed chicken gyoza. Very goodappetizer, with the chicken pieces being moist and tender. Went with the SoDo chicken curry for my main dish. Unfortunately, the chicken was over cooked, though the curry was flavored decently. Too much oil was added, for my taste. Spice level was a bitconservative for medium level. Given the higher fare for this food, was not too impressed with the overall quality and level ofpreparation. Perhaps it would have been more ideal to stick with the sushi. For next time. Read more

TL;DR: It was a fast-food experience in what one would expect to be a casual/semi-fine dining setting. Decided to come here... again after over a year. I was not pleased. For me, eating sushi is an experience rather than an abundance offood. Presentation and service are part of that experience. I was not expecting genuine/traditional sushi etiquette (I've neverbeen to Japan, so what do I know?). However, seeing the wasabi smeared into the dipping bowl was cringe-worthy. Presentation(see photos): 1 star. Disclosure: I had already eaten a maki piece and one of the nigiri before taking that picture. The soysauce smear there is no one's fault but my own. Our server was hurried, detached, and indifferent, which I assumed resultedfrom a lack of guidance, knowledge, or experience; it was not terrible but rather unremarkable. He wore his face mask below hisnose, so why even bother? Although my wife and I both ordered entrees, she was served first, and my entree came out 10 minuteslater. Service: 1.5 stars. The taste was lackluster, and the nigiri sizes were abysmally inconsistent. My wife's teriyakisalmon was paper-thin but apparently 'ok' in taste. Her steamed rice side was stiff, so it remained largely untouched. Read more

Tasty food! Can not wait to go back and try more! I got a few of the starters instead of a full meal. I got edamame ($5),... tempura sampler ($7), and firecracker shrimp ($6) All was freshly prepared and absolutely Delicious. The tempura was perfectlybatterd and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the firecracker shrimp. The sweet Thai chili sauce was a great complimentto these light appetizer choice. Read more

The rolls tasted pretty good but the portions were tiny considering the price. We basically paid $16 for each roll that's the... size of small makis that are usually under $10. You can see in the picture how much white space is left on the plate. Therestaurant was run down with sticky floors and tables and my seat had a huge rip on it. The ambiance and quality did not matchthe price point. It felt like dining at a hole in the wall but paying fine dining prices for small fine dining portions. Read more

Nice, casual environment. Many different sushi options to choose from. Varying spice levels and many fresh ingredients. I... enjoyed the Poison Ivy roll. The Lychee sake was perfect for the ladies night dinner we were enjoying. The Pho stole the showfor me! Decent atmosphere, prices and service! Read more
