I always am taken back to a time when I was a kid when I bring my own kids to Steak n Shake. This time was a eye opener. There... are no people working there besides the cooks. A machine takes your order and you sit yourself down to with your family with thequietness of no personal. This is not the real Steak n Shake. I will never bring my family here or any other one if this is howthey are now. At least they can't take my memory of a time more normal then this. Read more
Food was good but don't like that it's all kiosk ordering wether for dine in or take out. No one greeted us or even said hi... until we actually picked up our order at the counter. Very impersonal. Read more
A great place to grab a quick bite to eat. The customer service is usually great. I usually order on the app in order to make... sure that once I arrive the food is ready or to ensure that I do not have to wait a long time for the food to be prepared. Read more
I've loved this place since the first time went in 1998. It has changed a lot. The menu is considerably smaller and now is self... service only. I miss some items from the menu, but the delicious Frisco Melt is still there. Read more
Any other chain fast food shake seems to be impossible to sip through a straw but not here!! So good....You cannot go wrong with... a burger and a shake for under $10. Just don't make it any everyday thing - these shakes are RICH even for cheat meals. We willbe back!! Read more
Great place! I love steak n shake chains, mh family goes there so much and i was raised going there for celebrations! I love... their food and decor! The old timey shake shop feeling is just great, i love the order at the counter screen but.. i have tosay, i?ve been to alot of steak n shakes and this one.. was not the greatest, the floors were.. SO sticky, we all went home withsticky shoes and had to clean them, the food was great except the onion rings, though this might be an opinion thing!! Just thewhole table tried them and they were a little soggy or just unflavored completely, very flavorless. And the table was sticky andmessy, the workers were laughing and talking while we were cleaning our table.. the table i?m sure they are hired to clean, theycontinued their conversation while i waited to just ask for a ketchup packet. The ordering kiosk is very easy to use, the food is prepared according to the order, I had to ask them not to put salt on the... fries, there is no option for that on the kiosk. Quick and efficient. No vegan option. Read more
