This was my first experience at Melting Pot. My sisters and I truly enjoyed ourselves! We visited the Sandlake location on a... Friday night and it was beautiful! Let's talk about the ambience first. I really liked the setup of the restaurant. You walkinto spaced out tables and a nicely lit bar. The design of the booths, tables, "private" rooms, and outside area offers manyseating options. The restaurant was very clean with a fun, laid back, & sophisticated vibe. Even the other guests were friendlyand fun! Next, let's talk about the staff. The bartender!! Oh my goodness, those drinks were perfect! Our server was Chadwickand I appreciate how he attended my birthday celebration. He served six vibrant women with smiles, care, patience, and fun! Thenthere's Tom, or shall I say Mr. Smooth. As manager, he paid attention to his guests. He came by, greeted us, and brought me asigned birthday card. The attentive and personable service didn't stop there. It ran throughout the staff. Well ran and friendlyrestaurant as soon as you walk in and are greeted, seated, and served throughout the entire dining experience. I also want topoint out that if you make a reservation for a type of celebration, you'll be contacted in advance for an option to add balloonsand chocolate wafers to your table (an inexpensive fee). Last, but definitely not least, is the all the delicious food! Theselection of fondue cheeses, fondue chocolate sauces, vegetables and meats were fresh and flavorful! The experience ofcooking/dipping the array of meat selections in the broth and/or on the grill was really fun. They also provide assorted saucesto put on your meat and veggies. This was an interesting and unique experience for someone like me that typically goes to plain restaurants. So, you're dipping... things in cheese fondue and cooking meats and seafood in a boiling broth. Nice place for birthday parties, etc. About $50 ahead plus tx and drinks. So, my only disappointment was one of the cheeses was more whisky than cheese I wish that was betterexplained I didn't care for that fondue at all Still, a nice night out at a clean place with good food and a reasonablyattentive staff.....it can get busy... My wife and I went for our 10 year anniversary. We wanted to try something new and I'm so glad we went. First off the staff and... management were amazing. When we told them it was our anniversary the manager brought a card over to the table I have never seenthat. Our server was amazing and the food was out of this world. We loved the experience so much we ordered a kit so we can dothe same type of dinner at home with family and friends. I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back. Read more

Coming from a vegan that loves cheese, the Melting Pot was quite the experience. We came in for a birthday celebration and they... pretty much delivered. Being the vegan I was hesitant that my selection would cross contaminate with his selection but no! Itold them of my food allergy/preference and I was able to get my own custom meal without touching his. They even have a glutenfree appetizer option. The ambiance is very cool. Dim lights, gorgeous decor, comfortable booths. We opted for the completeexperience for two. We got the Caesar salad, I chose the Wisconsin cheese fondu, he the bacon & Brie. Being that it was ourfirst time ever eating fondue, it was a treat having the server prepare our dishes, very entertaining. Next is the main coursewhich I would have skipped. I wasn?t much a fan of the cooking in a broth and would have gone for the skillet. Now dessert!!!! Icould have been there all night if the chocolate was unlimited. It was a great fancy experience for birthday celebration ???? Low key lights but it creates the soothing clam experience. Good... food, they have packages for experiences for 2 and so on. It comes with salads, main course, cheese fondue and chocolate fondue.We were celebrating my friends birthday so we got happy birthday card and complementary cake cubes. Staff was very friendly andattentive. Here you can cook your own main course. It?s mostly prepared just flip your food until cooked ???? Overall it is agreat place but was little bit pricey for me.
