Great seafood! I went with the magical dining menu and you get a pretty good deal for $40. The octopus bolognese had a nice... briny flavor with perfectly cooked pasta. The creme brulee was delicious. Drinks were great as well. Prices were reasonable. Irecommend booking reservations for dinner. Parking can be hard to find in the area. We booked this place for our wedding. We have no words to thank the staff, not only for the amazing food and all their help to... decorate, but also for the way they treated us: they were very helpful, professional and nice. The ambiance is great! I have never been to Baldwin Park, but I really liked the area. I went on a date night with my wife... yesterday, and we went to the Osprey. Our server was very sweet and bubbly. We 1st had the calamari with the citrus aioli, andthat was very tasty. We also started with the Pei mussels. They were very flavorful and just needed some salt and lemon. ForEntrée I had the pork chop, which was delightful and filling. My wife had the fish and chips. The batter was great, but thefish just needed a bit more seasoning. The chips were amazing. At the end, we had the carrot cake, which was nice, moist, anddense in a good way. This lovely restaurant draws you in with it's modern look and its seasoned smell. the plants allow for a clean and rustic... atmosphere. while the music isn't too loud it's enough to hear and enjoy. The food is AMAZING, wonderfully plated and colorful.And it tastes even better! Totally recommend if you're in the area and if you aren't, make it your job to try this place out. Read more
AMAZING SERVICE! A group of 20 of us came last night for dinner and were soooo impressed by the service of DYLAN & GABY! Their... recommendations, fast paced service, and their energy truly made the experience more special. The food was DELICIOUS, wedefinitely recommend the oysters, salmon, hush puppies, NY strip, & ANYTHING on the cocktail menu. The manager Jessie assistedin making sure everything went smoothly. The service and setting were excellent; the only letdown was the food and drink. I don't remember the name of the drinks, but... they just felt plain—a collection of flavors that never really come together, leading to a confusing experience. The sameapplies to the food. The hush-puppies were void of crab flavor, saved only by the provided sauce. The Mahi, while cookedperfectly, was overpowered by the brine sauce on the plate. I did like the play of that with the sweet potato. But it allcoalesced into a salty mess. My fantastic waitress noticed my disappointment and asked if I wanted something else - I opted forthe scallops. The disappointment continued when a plate of four scallops with a pile of junk in the middle was presented. Theoverly sweet sauce and apple salad did little to meld with the flavor of the scallops. Delicious place with great service. Have not had a meal or dish that I have not been pleased with. Will never hesitate to come... here. Also very good about recognizing special events and taking special requests. Will definitely be back here more in thefuture.
