Everything was good EXCEPT THE STEAK. Service wasn't stellar either. Among apps and other dinners, my wife and I ordered the... 36oz porterhouse - medium rare. The waiter didn't seem to know this was for two. When it comes out, it looked under cooked fromthe outside. When he cuts it, it's blue. The waiter was unfamiliar with the term blue rare. This was a two inch steak. I don'tthink they even seasoned it. The waiter dropped some steak on the table as he was serving it. This was the second time in my allmy steakhouse experiences that I had to send a steak back. At $150, you should know how to cook it. Pretty mediocre experiencefor ~$100 per person without alcohol. Most food was good. Waiter stated portions are decent sized and hearty. They are not. Crab cake and tomahawk steak were the best... of our meals. Also had the shrimp Bruno which was good. Also has shrimp saute but received at room temp. Timing must have beenway off waiting for the steak. Not very good. Read more
Located inside the Hard Rock Hotel, it's a classic dark furniture, overly dim, a la cart, expensive restaurant. My glass of wine... was great and they offered a very robust selection. My sister ordered the chicken parm and tasted it a 3, rubbery and lackedflavor. The mashed potatoes were fantastic probably the best thing we ate. I ordered the branzino, although it was good, Ispent a lot of time picking out bones and hard scales, but it wasn't the best I've had. The mozzarella salad was odd, it cameout in a heavily oil drenched shaving of fennel and artichoke with a few sprinkles of prosciutto and a ball of mozzarella, thiswas my least favorite. Amazing meal! We started with Jumbo Shrimp Bruno (Four lightly breaded jumbo shrimp, topped with dijon mustard sauce). I ordered... the Sea Bass which came with mashed flava beans and English peas while my wife ordered the Ahi. We also got the Lobster Gnocchiand Three Cheese Au Gratin Potatoes. We go to the Palm every few years when we have something big to celebrate. It’s located in the lobby of the Hardrock Hotel at... Universal, they do offer valet & complimentary parking if you’re just coming to have dinner but we like to park at City Walkand ride the boat over. They have excellent food, typical high-end steakhouse fare. Large selection of beef cuts, severalseafood options as entrees or add-ons. The steaks are à la carte and you can add sides to share with the table. The portionsare large and everything we have ordered is amazing. Food is phenomenal. Order the dry aged NY strip. Best steak I have had, completely out shines any other high end steak house I... have been to. Everyone in my party loved their meals. Service was excellent my two kids split a 4lb crab and the staff did allthe work of breaking it down for them. Great experience all around and we will be back. Read more
