Our first experience here, i have been wanting to come for a while. Came early no crowds and ample parking we enjoyed several... cocktails including the one of the month. Each was crafted spectacularly and had unique flavors. The Charcuterie board was sotasty, as were our meals. The place started picking up by the time we left. Beautiful decor, great space outside to enjoy. Willbe back. Read more

Amazing food. Can't say enough good about this place. Pretty affordable revolving menu with many flavorful options. My wife,... two teenagers, and I stopped here before a soccer match to grab an early evening meal. Parking was not an issue at 4:30pm. Westarted with the alligator bites. These were the most tender, juiciest breaded morsels of meat I have ever eaten. My sonalmost placed a second order as his meal! We ordered: scallops, pork chop, two cheeseburgers, truffle fries, bread service, andthe hummingbird cake. Obviously, no one left hungry. Zachary described the risotto that came with the scallops as"interesting". He was right - it was jet black. The meal was great. The sweet apple brulee on the pork chops was perfect andthe burgers were what the kids were after. Everything came out perfect. 5 star meal and service for sure. Read more

Went on a Saturday for the bite 30 menu. I made a reservation through Google for 8:45pm as this restaurant was very popular. I... arrived at 8:20 and took advantage of their complimentary valet parking. When I arrived, I noticed it was packed. However, Ionly need to wait for about 15 minutes before my table is ready. For my drink, I tried the pretty in pink, which was theirsweetest drink with vodka, orange, lemon, and strawberry syrup. It took about some time to get my drink, but it was worth it asit was quite sweet, boozy, and refreshing. I had the fish dip as an appetizer, and I enjoyed the smoky fish along with thecrackers dip in it. The pickled jalapenos and radishes provided a nice tang and kick. For my entree, I did the hanger steak withpotatoes. The steak came nicely cut and perfectly rare, It was tender and the butter that was provided added a good flavor. Ialso really enjoyed the potatoes that it came with as it was a gratin. I chose the banana brulee for dessert and was very happyI did. It was a banana custard with bruleed bananas on top. It almost tasted like banana bread. A perfect ending to a wonderfulmeal. Service was friendly and prompt, however it did take some time to get my food and drinks. The vibe was a bit loud as theplace was crowded. The dining area is not too big and there is a small bar when entering. There is outdoor seating, but I don'trecall anyone using it as it was raining. The atmosphere is upscale, but nothing formal. Overall, this is a great downtownrestaurant for upscale American cuisine. The food and drinks are worth the wait, especially with the bite 30 promotion. I willindeed be back when another promotion comes for this restaurant. Read more

After hearing from friends how good this place is I decided to make reservations for our anniversary. EVERYTHING about the... experience was amazing. The hostesses greeted us, acknowledged our celebration and seated us right away. The waitress,Victoria, was at our table almost immediately and was very attentive throughout the whole evening. The drinks we ordered werewonderful. The food was delicious. The manager, Ashley, helped answer some questions and the owner, Carol, was a lot of fun tochat with. Every expectation was met and exceeded. I will be very happy to go back. Read more

Ideally located across from Ivanhoe Lake. Great outdoor seating area and bar with wonderful views. Inside is luxuriously... decorated with plush velvet booths and gigantic copper lighting. Don?t like sipping your drinks in the hot/humid Floridatemps? No worries! Great bar that also has great views of the lake across the street. Was excited to order the clams but wastold they were out of season and would probably be taken off of the menu. Ordered instead the shrimp cerviche which was fresh, light and scrumptious. Highly recommend a hard pass on the bread plate as it took forever to arrive at our table as it wasfresh out of the oven, yet not even warm when it got to us. The butter was not room temperature and could not be spread in thebread. Grouper sandwich was crispy on the outside and flaky inside. Whereas the French fries that were ordered crispy came outa pale color. All in all, a great place for drinks with a great view or a nice place for date night. Read more

I?ve had the good fortune to travel around the US for many years and to experience many great restaurants. Sometimes I go out to... just eat, but there are times I want to become immersed in the complete fine dining experience. I?m spending some time here inOrlando and a very good friend came into town to see me. We picked the Pinery looking for a pleasant place to have a quiet mealand catch up. We both ordered the IVANHOE SMASHED BURGER as it came highly recommended. That was one of the best sandwich I?veever had. We decided to end our evening with a DARK CHOCOLATE POT DE CRÈME dessert. I can?t put into words how delicious thatspecial treat was, you?ll just have to try it yourself. To sum it all up, this is a nicely decorated restaurant, in a greatlocation, where you can have a delicious meal while enjoying lake side view. The menu is full of many interesting choices thatwill have you coming back to try them all. The best part is the very professional staff that know how to make your diningexperience a real treat! My boyfriend and I were here on a busy Friday night for my birthday. This was our first time at The Pinery, it?s a fairly new... restaurant. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. We were worried about parking but there was free valet (tip themy?all!) We were seated right away and drink orders were out in minutes, shortly followed by appetizers, despite it being quitebusy. Our server was helpful and professional, truly awesome at her job. And as you can see from my pictures, the food was justamazing. That grouper filet was perfectly cooked, a culinary work of art. Endless compliments to the chef, I?ll remember thatfish forever. The sides were delicious too! I?ve seen other reviews knocking The Pinery for having repetitive sides butfrankly, if it allows the kitchen staff of a new restaurant more time to perfect the main, I think that?s an excellent strategicchoice. We didn?t eat dessert this time, but I very much hope to come back soon to try more menu items. There were many thatappealed to both of us, and eating here was such a great experience. Very highly recommended! Read more
