Great place for breakfast. Small-town diner feel. I enjoyed their apple crisp french toast. They have some delicious options... beyond the normal eggs and toast. Definitely a go-to location if you are in the Cape Cod area. Read more

Had two basic breakfast meals with coffee: an 3 ingredient omelette with home fries and two eggs with a small portion of corned... beef hash, no homefries. Spent around $50 with tax and 20% tip. The food was decent but that?s much more than I?ve spent at themany places I?ve had breakfast in on the Cape, and honestly those places are better. Read more

My wife and I were in Wellfleet last week visiting family While in Orleans, we drove by the Homeport Restaurant and decided to... have lunch. We are so glad we did! My wife had a fish sandwich and fries and I had a cheeseburger and fries. Both meals verytasty and served hot. There were many patrons eating breakfast and their dishes looked great! Breakfast is served all day. Ihave been going to the Cape for over 60 years with family roots in Wellfleet. The lower Cape does not offer any good optionsfor what I call a regular restaurant. Most eating places are seasonal and pricey. The Homeport is a locally owned and operatedrestaurant. The prices are reasonable and the waiting staff was friendly. My wife and I highly recommend this establishment! Read more

The food was disappointing, nothing awful but nothing to write home about.

Has God abandoned us? And, if so, why? The answer lies in Orleans, Massachusetts at Homeport Restaurant. There, tucked deep... in an oddly laid out parking lot off Main Street and Brewster Cross, one can find something approximating secular salvation - aprofaning experience that is, at its heart, the truest expression of the inherent darkness of God?s greatest creation. ThatHomeport Restaurant would be the equivalent not just to middle fingers raised defiantly toward the sky but also beyond that - tothe absolute vanishment of hope - was probably not under consideration when the restaurant opened in a quiet portion of theouter Cape in 1968, unconcerned with the civil unrest reverberating throughout urban America. Homeport offers traditional dinerfare ranging from the vital all-day breakfast (e.g., omelets, corned beef and hash, Texas toast) to late model lunch/dinneroptions (e.g., cheeseburgers, club sandwiches, etc.). Of course, as a restaurant on Cape Cod, it provides traditional NewEngland accents, such as fried fish and lobster rolls. But it is not the traditional mid-century restaurant menu that causedour Creator to call it quits. Just as Victor Frankenstein failed to consider his relentless pursuit?s effects on the rest ofhumanity, so too has Homeport Restaurant. The difference between Frankenstein and Homeport is that society condemnedFrankenstein for his monster. Homeport, however, recently celebrated its 50th anniversary - a societal mark of commendation ifever there was. But what great affront has humanity enshrined? Why has God abandoned us? The Monte Cristo, built upon thecroque monsieur, is a delicious, yet slightly deviant sandwich, full of saturated fats. In the 1960s through the 1980s, itoften held its place on menus as the most decadent option available. Usually, nothing else would come close to its combinationof fat and melted fat dipped in jelly, surely no other sandwich. But the Monte Cristo is just humans in a brief da Read more

The best breakfast I've found so far. Being from the south, I'm just used to a different plate combination. No complaints about... the taste. A little pricey but nothing shocking. Will definitely go again. Read more

We decided to go here on a whim for a late breakfast. It was a nice cozy small dinner like place. I got a 3 egg sausage and... mushroom omelette which was very good. My wife got a breakfast delight (bacon and tomato thing) which she enjoyed a lot. Iwould go again if we are ever in the area again. Read more
