Egg rolls were dry and tasteless but not as bad as the chicken fried rice. It use to have many various types of vegetables (now... only the odd piece of carrot) and much more generous pieces of chicken. They've lost us as customers. Read more
WORST taken out ever. PERIOD. This is not even worth to be called Chinese food, I was served slop in a plastic container. I had... ordered mandarin noodles, and they gave me a gross mess of boiled chicken, uncooked shrimps with their tails on, and barely anynoodles. If there were any, it was mush. The chicken wings were rubbery and tasteless. The soo guy was greasy and horrible. There was this horrible after taste when eating the entire meal. This place should have been closed down years. Everyone suggested Charlie Chans egg rolls. Highly unimpressed at our entire order. The general Tso was not spicy. The garlic... spare ribs were bland. Actually everything we ordered kinda tasted the same. Like it was all freezer burnt & kept in the samecontainers. I couldn’t finish my food at all. The egg rolls were “open ended” but not filled to the end, kinda half openhalf closed, and these come NO WHERE close to the flavours of Ruby Inn or Golden Palace. The only thing that got two stars herewas the chicken balls. They were ok, but not worth another order from this place. Hopefully our move to Orléans will bring usbetter egg rolls elsewhere. Ordered Take out a few times in the past two months and all dishes / items were excellent. Very tasteful, generous, and ready... at time of pickup. A little pricey but consistent with other Chinese food restaurants. Would definitely recommend! Read more
Hadn’t eaten from Charlie Chan for many years. We ordered a dozen egg rolls and 2 combo’s, the only complaint I could say is... not enough plumb sauce. A dozen egg rolls needs twice the amount of plumb sauce that was given. Otherwise, service was good,food was hot and delicious. I’ll just have to go back for more plumb sauce. Read more
I really like their Szechuan beef, it's packed with spice and various fresh veggies. It's slightly salty so you would have to... eat it with rice or something on the side. Garden shrimp is good too. Hubby really likes their egg roll and butterfly shrimp.Their butterfly shrimp has a slice of bacon wrapped together in the egg batter. Read more
Ordered quite a few times. Always good.
Ordered here for the first time today and it will be my first and last time. The wings are small and gross… the portion sizes... of everything else I ordered were very very small. For the amount of money I paid for what I ordered was not worth it at all.I’ll never be ordering for here again! Read more
