We have been ordering from this location quite a lot recently and never had any issues. Tonight was a complete disaster! Ordered... a medium dragon boat and it looked a $5.00 rushed pizza. Dough was not cooked properly and wet. Wrong cheese added and completeoverkill. The toppings appeared dried out and old. The pizza fell apart and was inedible. Nothing like the Dragon boat weusually order. Then my daughter bit into a chicken wing and they were not cooked, partially frozen. Had to wait on hold forcustomer service for 20 minutes before being asked to send pictures. Sent new order and chicken was cooked but again same issuewith the pizza. It looked like a small, which was cooked too long and then sprinkled with parmesan cheese. We should have beenoffered a reimbursement instead and were not given a choice. I called back and was told this would be sent to the owner. For$45.00 I feel like we were robbed tonight. If you have to order from this location do not on a Sunday! Very disappointed. Read more
Been ordering pizza and pasta from Gabriels for quite a while. Good, but not always consistent. Last few times, the crust is... very under-cooked. I always specify well done crust. Today the crust was practically not cooked. Called to complain. Had to takephotos and told driver would pick up food and I would get a partial credit. Forget it, they are off my list now. Looks like theyare too busy to cook the pizza properly. I was told my credit card would be credited, but it takes 7 to 10 days...Guess I'llhave to wait and see. Too bad they are losing a loyal, long time regular customer. Read more
Food is great but the guy that makes the food with the gray hair and goatee doesn't stop complaining, yelling and swearing from... the back. Its all you can hear. Dont bring your kids. Read more
Updating my review. Previous review: 1 star and a negative review because the pizza was messed up New edit: 5 star. I was... recently diagnosed with celiac's (gluten intolerance) and am therefore unable to eat regular crust pizza. However, I wasextremely satisfied after my recent visit. I walked in and before I started speculating what I was going to get for my family Iwas offered an amazing deal: A large pizza for the price of a medium. Well that's a no brainer. I let my brother pick what we'regetting and I pay. We waited for probably about 15 minutes and the pizza was ready. Now I'm already happy by the speed and thedeal that I got but apparently that wasnt enough. The owner comes pops his head through the half wall and apologizes for thedelay (???) and tells me to grab a 2L bottle of whatever I wanted, FREE. I have no clue if this was just luck but damn, thiswas an amazing experience even if I couldnt eat the pizza. Highly recommend going there. Absolutely love the owner. Read more
Updated review: The last few months the pizza has been inconsistent. Undercooked or overcooked, sometimes flooded in sauce.... There are a lot of pizza places in the area including another Gabriel so I don't really order from this location anymore. Thisis my favorite pizza place in Ottawa, hands down. They are so generous with the cheese and toppings! The bacon strips areamazing. When I have guests visiting from out of town, they ask that I order this pizza again for them. There's always some sortof special available on the Gabriel's app, which is nice because the prices are a little high. Read more
