Amazing experience. Customer service is off the charts. Everyone working there are genuine. Every customer was happy and... evidently as satisfied as I was! The food is fresh, healthy and super delicious. The hummus is excellent and the taboulie isauthentic. In fact, everything is authentic. He really is the Garlic King! There is even an area staged to have your photo takenor a selfish ib the throne of the Garlic King! There is also a children's menu. There is also a wonderful selection of Glutenfree options. Garlic king is one of our favourite shawarma places to go to. The sandwiches are full of flavour and the spices on the chicken... is amazing. Chicken is very moist and pitas are fresh. Been eating here (gluten free) for the last 5 years and I've never been sick once. The owner and the staff are great and follow... strict protocols to avoid cross contamination and ensure safety if you are or have celiac disease. Best Shawarma in town!! Always great service and fresh food. They have a great designated area for Gluten Free options which is... great for someone Celiac or gluten intolerant. 5 stars for their service. But, they should improve the portion of the meat. No comparison to what Shawarma Palace offers. ... Also, the quality. But, Garlic King let?s you add tabuli for free whereas Shawarma Palace and other places don?t. But, therice is definitely better at Shawarma Palace. Brown rice would be great. Came here because I wanted to meet the Garlic King and try his famous shawarmas. I was not disappointed. Met him and he is as... exceptional as his food is. I got spicy chicken wrap and a mix wrap and I couldn?t believe how fresh it tasted. Their chickenisn?t as juicy as I?d hoped for but it is still amazing. Their veggies add so much flavour and compliment to the freshness ofthe chicken. This shawarma place is a must try to all Ottawa residents. This place is horrible. First of all the old man cashier was super rude. It was my first time at this place and dint realize... they make shawarmas different ways and he spoke to me like i was stupid and kept saying there you go to me like whats wrong withhim... the potatoes are disgusting and are under cooked these are not real garlic potatoes... and the chicken is flavourless andcold what a waste of money.
