Alfie's is a decent option if you're in the Ormond Beach area on the beach side. While not directly on the beach it sits across... the road (A1A) and you can get a pretty decent view depending on where you're seated. There were quite a few people dining forthe early bird specials that end at 6pm. I found the portions a little under-sized compared to other options in this area, butaligned with the overall value. Awesome service. Food was steaming hot. Not usually use to that anymore. I've had to lower my expectations, sad but mainly just... stop going out due to it. Most restaurants nowadays are lacking all of the above. My husband's 1st time here but I was here manymany years ago. Read more
We visit Ormond Beach annually, and I look forward to breakfast at Alfie's every year. Hubby had their 2-2-2 with biscuits and... gravy. I had the Irish Benedict, which I highly recommend. The food is always delicious. Service is fast andfriendly. Traveler's tip: Looking for a good beach read? There is a small library just inside the entrance at Alfie's where youcan take a book and leave a donation for the local Lions Club, or donate a book if you are so inclined. Enjoy! Read more
I loved everything about this restaurant. The location across from the ocean, the decor and environment in the restaurant, good... parking, and of course the food. Our waitress was Baby Bonnie and she was incredibly sweet, helpful and considerate. The foodwas delicious. I got the broiled platter and it was a lot of food. We got mozz sticks as an appetizer and they were excellent,as was my salad before my entree. My only complaint would be that the broiled seafood platter had a ton of butter on it but Iknow now that they add butter and will simply request to hold the butter next time. We will be back! I love eating here so much I drive an hour and a half one way. The fried haddock is the best ever but today I tried the broiled... platter of broiled haddock shrimp and scallops in bay seasoning. Delicious and only 24 bucks. Comes with two sides. I've beenwell pleased with anything I have ordered. The portions are large. You won't go away hungry. The prices are great and theservice is excellent especially Robert...he goes all out .. but Thomas is also a very nice server. The beach is directly acrossthe street with ocean views. Read more
Fantastic food at great prices! I had prime rib and my daughter had seafood platter and we shared with Mikey. Then we shared... fried ice cream for dessert. Robert is a vert attentive hands on owner! I highly recommend Alfie's and we had ocean view rightfrom our table. Read more
It was a nice little diner across from the ocean with beautiful views. The people were nice and the food was good. My husband... had the Haddock and I had the Seafood Mac 'n Cheese. The decorations were a bit ocean cheesy. And it seemed like the place coulduse a good deep cleaning. They had a hodgepodge of mismatched tables. But it's a decent place for a casual night out.
