The service here was top notch. We had a big group, and the staff really went out of their way to accommodate us. They even put... the ball game up on the projector for my father. Food was meh. Service was kinda slow. Server mixed up bills, or double charged people for things that were paid for by people... that left earlier. Either way, might as well go into oromocto and hit something else. Read more

Manager/Owner told the server responsible for our table to go home because it wasn't busy enough, then we waited 30 mins with... empty drinks while the few servers ran ragged and that same Owner/Manager went home. Poor management, staff were very friendlydespite the increased trivia crowd. Bad look for management putting profits above guest experience. ???? Read more
Before reading this review, I implore you to look at the attached photo. This is me, enjoying a coffee that I purchased 5... minutes before being kicked out of Griffins Pub & Eatery. As you can see, the bar is empty save for 3 customers, two of which(seen on the left) I told to go there for the free wifi. You'd think with this sort of volume, the owner would want to build areputation for good customer service in order to draw more people. Instead, he asked one of his waitresses to request that I"finish my coffee as quickly as possible" and leave. He did not even have the dignity or ownership to ask me himself. Thebottom line is, this owner only cares about HIS bottom line. This is especially ironic and sad considering his pub is located ona military base. Normally I tip in excess of the value of my coffee; I did not after being kicked out. Kicking a paying customerout of a virtually empty pub is counter-intuitive with regards to drawing more customers. It also builds a bad reputation, whichis not good in any industry. I imagine Griffins Pub & Eatery will continue to remain as empty as you see it in this image wellinto the future (on this point, I would gladly excuse myself if I felt like I was keeping a table from a hungry patron orgroup).
