I generally have loved Jake's, but not after today. I get it, char broilers are smokey. When the store gets busy it's gets... pretty blue in there. The stores answer was to prop open the front and back doors to let the wind through. Sounds reasonable...Except... It's cold, AND windy out today. So there I sat, freezing, having to hold onto things to keep them on the table. Tryingto eat food that had gotten cold. My wife sitting across from me almost in tears. Had to give up, didn't get to finish, tookwhat we had left in a box. Terrible experience. Should have gone to Sonic. Read more

For an excellent burger ???? in a kick back atmosphere with friendly staff, Jake's Burgers is a great place.

Great roadside burger joint. The food is outstanding: truly delicious burgers, well seasoned fries. My NorCal Spicy Chicken... sandwich was excellent, just the right amount of spicy and great pickles and sauce. There's a good sized sit down area, or youcan takeaway. Jakes burgers and more has mediocre food, everything pre packed nothing is fresh! I would know I deliver the ingredients, the... burgers are okay about equivalent to a Carls jr burger. The staff is rude and unfriendly, very unprofessional. I wouldn?trecommend. Response to the owner: Even if your food is fresh, which it?s not! But we?ll go with that, it doesn?t change thefact that the food is still mediocre and your staff is very unprofessional and rude so maybe instead of taking the time out ofyour day to reply to me you should focus on revive your failing staff. Really got let down. I made order by phone. Ready in 15 minutes. I arrived, paid for meal, and then proceeded to wait for 35... minutes. 3 others came in and got orders and left. Guy cooking the burgers looks up at me and says my wrong name and it's comingup. I said that's not my name, told him my name and cashier jumped and said my order has been ready for some time. I was infront of cash register the whole time. No sorry or any courtesy given . I got dinner for 2 cold, and the employed just laughed.Well Jake's, having been a customer for 15+ years, you now have 2 less. Looks like Boss Burger will have to do. Jake's is notlike it used to be. Second chance: July 1st, 2022 Well, I got weak and having been a good customer for so many years, thoughtI'd go back and get that Jake's Burger with "The Works", and again was let down. I was given the Jr Jake and then it hitme..... I was the only person in the restaurant, besides the 3 employees. My first impression I was not impressed. The floors were dirty along with a few tables. Bad visual. Overpriced and the food was... not worth mentioning.JAKE you can go down the street and take a few lessons from WENDY'S. Now that's a good cheese burger. I donot recommend them .
