Had my Daughters 6th birthday party at Shakeys, everything from reserving space for the party to giving our order in advance... went great. Food came out as soon as we got there and was delicious. The pizza crust is really thin and crunchy. The potato wedges are good. The fried chicken is very crispy, but salty.
I had a horrible experience this evening I ordered a large pepperoni to go. It was busy and I waited 30 minutes to be handed a... horrible looking pizza. When I showed it to the very rude night Manager he said it's fine, just came out of the oven. I havephotos I took before I left Shakey's. I called to complain he told me it was hot but it wasn't I should have got my money backbefore I left with this ugly pizza. I have been going there for decades and have Birthday parties all the time. A blast from the past, I haven't eaten at Shakey's Pizza for 20+ years. I was very surprised to see an open Shakey's in Northern... California. I had a pepperoni pizza and fried chicken with flips. The pizza was as delicious as I remembered it and the friedchicken and flips were to die for, yum! If you are on Oroville or passing through, stop at Shakey's, you won't be disappointed,two thumbs up! Read more
Don't forget the tip! Nostalgic pizza with some sick arcade games like TMNT, and more classics. Oh yeah, and there's great... pizza/service too! First pie was a little overdone admittedly by staff and we got a piping got fresh new one that was evenbetter. Obviously everyone knows Shakey?s for their pizza, but the real stars on their menu are the fried chicken and mojos! I?m a big... time fried chicken fan and Shakey?s is up there with the best. No jokes. The mojos are the perfect balance of crispy on theoutside and soft on the inside and the seasoning is bomb. I used to live in SoCal and had Shakey?s all the time and was drivingthrough Oroville, so obviously I had to make a detour to Shakey?s to get my mojo/chicken/pizza fix! Read more
I am so happy to find a Shakeys after having grown up with one in Georgia but that has been long gone and Shakeys only exists in... California anymore. Shakeys has a purely unique thin crust pizza that you cannot find anywhere else, trust me I havetried. Alot of times when you feed the nostalgia bug it doesn't live up. This was the real deal and probably the best versionof Shakeys pizza I have experienced. Thank ya'll for doing this still and still doing it right! Read more
