So I will gladly disclose I am the assistant manager at the Oroville Domino's I have had over 15 years in customer service... experience and fast food/restaurant experience. and my time with my neighbors at the Wendy's restaurant was absolutely horriblefrankly very weird there was about five employees working around 3:00 p.m. on a Wednesday and every one of their attitude seemedgrim, sad mopey, no smiles, barely talking, very awkward and the older lady who I believe was a manager probably in her 60s therudest of them all seemed like she hated her job, her day seem to be going horrible yet when I asked how her day was shereassured me she was fine. (At this point I'm realizing she just has an attitude towards me personally) I kept a smile I triedto have a positive attitude. but the way they treated me was very weird and awkward. I even offered to bring their crew a pizzawhich she scoffed at and then said "!no! we don't want pizza here" I looked at the rest of the crew and then I proceeded to evensa" well if you need more hours or a second job please apply at Domino's you can get$19 an hour in less than 90 days and. Seating area was not very clean. Lots of flies. However, the burger was very good.
I came into the store to get a quick snack got some Pub fries that took 20 minutes to make. And the cheese on top was cold. This... place is inundated with flies. I could not enjoy my meal without swatting away flies. You can clearly see in one corner of therestaurant that there's a broken window where the Flies are coming in and where they are congregating. Also the bathrooms atthis location are not actually public bathrooms because you need to get a coin from the cashier in order to use the bathroomshowever one of them doesn't lock so I don't understand what the point of the coins is. I don't rate a lot of corporate eateries but this Wendy's is my favorite. I had the hot snd spicy chicken sandwich today w,/... chocolate frosty, pretty good fast food Faire. Wendy's has options thst you don't get at most corporate places, ( Chili insteadof fries is my usual choice) and you can get your chicken crispy, regular or grilled and you don't get that across the street???? I give them a 4 only because it's a national corporate and prefer independent or at least small chains. Read more
Honestly at this point would give a ZERO but then I could not write this review. I have lived here nearly 2 and half years... during this time I have tried going to Wendy's approx 4 different times if not more everytime Says cash only. So I write reviewstating these facts. I get a message back from Owner manager can not rem apologizing saying come back things are working now.So... I go and try them and guess what CASH ONLY card reader doesn't work. Ridiculous ???? The worst Wendy's you will ever go to and it's consistently terrible. I have lived in this area for five years and this place... never makes a good chicken sandwich. The chicken is dry, then the bacon is burnt, then they add they tomatoe you ask them toremove. They change employees and nothing changes its an obvious lack of oversight on the part of the upper management. I reallyenjoy Wendy's occasionally but not like this. This food went straight to the garbage. Look at that tiny piece of chickencovered in burnt bacon, I cant believe they have the audacity to sell their product like that. Read more
The employees at the Oroville location were pretty interesting to say the least, there appeared to be a gang member, and what... appeared to be a homeless man working there. They could definitely show a little more integrity in their appearance/hygiene,dirty clothes aren't a good look when working around food. Read more
